It does what it should do
Exactly as the headline says, it does what it is supposed to do. The other reviews talking about the buttons are right, they tend to get stuck. The build quality is bulky, but sturdy. It does its job.
Buttons are a bit sticky but is quite sensitive and does the job
Plain, simplest SPL meter. Easy to use.
It does what it was designed to do.
It's great!
Seems very good for the price. It seems durable and has good build quality and comes with a nice case to carry it around.
Precise
The meter is really huge physically, especially with the case, I didn't expect the size so be careful if you are looking for something elegant to carry in your jacket pocket.
Otherwise, it seems reliable and precise, it's my first SPL and I love all the different functions it has such as calculating the noise level of specific sounds where the meter will subtract the general "room" noise and make the calculations automatically for you. This can be really helpful in certain situations.
I have mainly bought it to be able to calibrate speakers and have consistency and a solid reference when working in different studios.
Before I was using an application on my iPhone and obviously, this meter is a better option.
Really easy to use
Device is really easy to use and intuitive even for beginner like me. Windshield is removable. Device itself is quite large, I expected it to be smaller but it's not too bad. Display is legible and backlight looks good. Device turns off itself after some time of inactivity which is nice especially since it's battery powered.
I used it mostly to SPL match two pairs of studio monitors and measure noise sources in room like fans etc.
Good but no LEQ
This is an effective and useful piece of kit but the absence of LEQ options makes it harder to give meaningful information to clients. Quality is fine and accuracy is fine.
Nice!
As others said it is big but it does what it needs to do. It is totally it is worth the price..
Its does what it needs to do
Easy to set up.
with a few option to match your needs.
Works perfect when you need to set your levels for mixing.
Cheap and cheerful
Cheap and Cheerful bit of kit. But does what you want it to. Nice clear display. Instructions could be more detailed on some of the extra features this has but hey ho.
