Digital Sound 8922 4-stars Reviews
Buttons are a bit sticky but is quite sensitive and does the job
Nice!
As others said it is big but it does what it needs to do. It is totally it is worth the price..
I bought this device to measure SPL on live shows. As a sound engineer it comes out very handy.
The display has very bulky numbers, easy to see and the readings are very consistent. Although I don't like the colour and the size of it (it's a bit too big if you want to carry it with your other measuring tools), it does what it needs to do, in good fashion,
I always carry this around and for the price I payed it seems to me that it was a very good deal.
Does what it's for
The Digital Sound 8922 feels and functions like a proper quality db-meter. It's easy to use, and the display backlight is bright enough for any situation. If you are familiar with similar devices you won't need the manual at all to understand how it works.
Only thing that slightly bothers is that it feels old. The connectors and overall connectivity is pre-usb. There is no possibility to map or create graphs that could be exported via usb to PC or Mac. However, it's rather cheap too so this is not a big issue, and if you need it just for plain simple db-measuring you can't go wrong.
