Great pedal for what it does

These pedal tent to have latency, not the case with this one.

I find it a bit too dull in some features but overall great product.

Works as advertised

Pedal works perfectly as advertised. Woks great only needing one guitar for most situation in various tunings.

I've seen reviews from other people outside the EU, epsecially the US (where I live) about the shipping time. This order did take well over a month w/ tracking stopping once it reached the US but received the items in the order w/ no issues. Pricing was below the US pricing and I'm not going to complain about shipping times as long as I receive the item in a relatively quick time frame.

Really useful

I love this pedal, it's so much easy now to change tunings. Definitely worth the money

What a fun toy

I wanted something that would allow me to easily change tunings because I play a lot of Rocksmith and tuning can easily become bothersome. This pedal does the job really well.

Its quality is superb and it is very easy to use. The sound is not outstanding if you go lower than a whole step and it sounds very muddy, but if you're not planning to use this in a professional environment and just want to try and experiment with it, then go ahead and try it. Also I'm using this pedal with a bass so maybe the muddiness comes from that ? (I don't own a guitar so I haven't been able to try it...)

The octave/dry mode is super cool though and it works wonderfully.

Excellent drop tuning device

I was looking for a pedal to quickly change tunings for low tuned songs, without constantly having to re-tune. I found this pedal to sounds great!

One thing to keep in mind is that it can sound out of tune because you still hear the string noise (in the original tuning). I would thus recommend this pedal only if you turn up the amp loud enough to not hear the strings, or with headphones.

Class-Leading

I have been a big fan of digital modeling - at my studio, we have the kemper stage profiler, the helix floor and the fractal AX8. While they are amazing in their own rights and have rendered most of my pedalboard redundant, I find that the digitech Drop is one of the pedals that simply cannot be replaced that easily, given its ease of use and its ability to easily and accurately change drop tunings.

Great pedal, affordable and highly functional

The digitech drop does exactly what is advertised in a very effective way. There is no significant latency and it does not disturb your playing.

Strange artifacts start to sound at very low tones, but this is to be expected. For the price, nothing beats this pedal. Build quality is top notch and switch is very silent so it does not make noise when turned on/off.

I highly recommend this pedal.

Change tuning with minimum effect on tone

I use this pedal to drop my guitar one or two keys down when playing in a band or when playing along tracks that have tuned down guitars. The octaver sounds good as well but I hardly use it.

Overall the pedal sounds great with minimum latency. The only thing I have to advice is that your guitar needs to be loud enough so you don?t hear any acoustics. Causes bleeding ears if used at bedroom level!

Love this pedal

A lot of fun........

Works fine, build quality is very good........

Only minor quibble is it "rocks" a little when on a flat table (4 rubber feet are not all perfectly flat). No problem though.

Should be noted that it needs to be played at a volume that is louder than the "unplugged" sound of the strings, otherwise it plays funny tricks on your ears hearing 2 different pitches........

Best product for pitch shifting requirements

Before I bought this pedal, I watched tons of reviews about it, big shot folks using it and part of me always though "Yeah they are endorsed, they have to say that" etc etc.

I can't believe how well this pedal is working and handling pitch shifts.

It doesn't affect the sound at all, except when you are trying to go really really low and having your initial guitar tuned low (Im using C# Drop as initial tuning and yes, having it pulled down by whole octave changes sound a bit).

I am using this pedal for recordings too since I cannot afford having additional guitars with different tunings and recorded DI tracks are phenomenal!

Build quality is quite solid and overall impression is amazing.

I would definitely recommend this pedal, its small, its light, it really covers the whole "different tunings but one guitar" problem!

Best pedal I've ever bought!

This great little pedal allows me to switch between different tunings within seconds. I like to play heavy music and play songs of different bands who use different tunings (As I lay dying, Parkway Drive, Slipknot, ...). I never have to switch guitars, I only have to turn one knob.

The sound stays very clear and true when you droptune up to 3 or 4 steps. The pedal is very easy and intuitive to use. The build quality is great (complete metal casing).

Awesome Pedal

This pedal will solve all your issues for playing in different tunes, very fair sound and awesome octaver ! Sometimes it has a little delay but its very little.

Tested in live gigs, no delay, no quality loss during playing, reccomend it!

Does what it says

I'm just a casual, at home player. I mostly just do covers of songs I like over a variety of genres and noodle around for fun. In the past I've just had multiple guitars set up in different tunings so I can switch between songs quickly. With the digitech drop though, now I can easily down tune with a simple knob. I haven't noticed and latency or sound quality issues until you get super low. Then it seems to lose a little. But i usually dont go much lower than drop b, so it fits my needs perfectly. Build quality is excellent. Overall happy with my purchase.

Transpose on guitar

This is nice and usable pedal if you need to change fast your guitar tonality... built as tank, easy to use!

Very good purchase

I bought this pedal some weeks ago and I haven't had that many occasions to use it. Here is my opinion so far.

It is a solid and sturdy build. I wouldn't be affraid to drop it from the table on the floor, not that I would recommend it. This is how I use it btw. On the table in front of me to easily change the tunning.

When it comes to tunning it goes like this: from E standart, D#, D, C#, C, B, A#, A, octave and octave & original in some cool mix.

The controls are fine, the knob is a little counterintuitive for the way it spins.

The sound is fine, I don't think one will notice any delay or bad quality, especially if one uses it in their home.

Would recommend 10/10

Over all i like it

If you use distorsion (after this pedal), and put too much gain, it seems to have some digital sound

Does what it says on the tin

I'm happy with this pedal. Does exactly what it says it will do.

I use it mainly to pitch down to -2 steps for some songs. But the Octave setting for bass sound, and especially the dry+octave setting are cool as well. It's almost as if you're getting two pedals in one, so for the price I'm really happy with my Drop.

Another minor bonus: I was suprised to open the box and find a 9V DC power supply with adapter for Euro and UK plugs.
