Good for the price

The overall build quality was surprisingly good, the extra feature of top boost was completely useless as it sounds like hot garbage when switched on, but otherwise a very nice sounding distortion pedal. Works best with metal.

Nice metal distortion with lots of range

This metal distorion sounds quite modern and can go from a nice 80's-ish metal sound to a modern sound that can be suitable for Mastodon or Nickleback-like sounds. The metal enclosure is very sturdy and is built to last for a long time. The 'top-boost' might sound very harsh when it's not dialed in properly and needs to be adjusted very delicately to prevent your ears from hurting a lot. The EQ on this pedal is very broad.

so metal

this is a powerful distortion pedal, only have the gain set to about 3 on it! I consider it more of a practice pedal rather than a gigging pedal. As far as build quality goes it is a strong metal box and seems unbreakable, just like all Electro Harmonix pedals! Handy 3 band eq on it aswell and the boost button makes it more treble/mid boosted.
