Average booster

The simple one knob control is quite enough for what this pedal can do.

I didn't quite enjoy the boost that this pedal provides. Have tried it both before and after my overdrive/distortion pedals, but none of the setups satisfied me.

I am now using a Keeley compressor which I also use for boost and sustain. I know I am comparing totally different things, but I would say that the compressor/booster which I keep on pretty much all the time it's quite important in my setup. So If you have a similar setup, you might consider investing in a high quality piece.

It doesn't always work, but when it does, it's awesome

I have a love-hate relationship with this pedal. It works very well to subtly push some cleaner tones to just break a little. But when used to enhance already overdriven amps, it creates a sonic hole in the mid region that sucks all live out of the amp.

USE :

I used it with my Hughes & Kettner Statesman Dual 6l6 combo!

PROS & CONS :

I wanted a simple booster to give my amp more power. After I tested it it was clear that this is not what I wanted. It really is a booster but it boosts low frequencies more than highs and my amp becomes muddy!

If you really want a booster that don't color your tone, this one will not be your first choice.

Build quality is,I should say medium and this pedal could last long.

If I ever will buy another booster,it would be TC Spark Booster for sure!

Won't do what you think

I bought this to be used as a lead boost pedal.

It does not do this job well, volume is unreliable, and often it sounds far too compressed and. well, a bit poo really.

It is absolutely NOT a clean boost at all. It's very dirty, obfuscating your hard designed tones and muffling up your sound.

I can't seem to make this pedal work for me, however you might be able to. Take advantage of the money back guarantee and see for yourself.

You might have better luck than I did.

Not Very happy

I found this peadal not exactly as I was hoping for. The boost is a little too much for my liking, even at its lowest setting I found it made my tone a little to fat for my own personal taste.
