Long lasting

I personally prefer the more metallic sound of regular strings but they sound also good enough and last longer.

Great, but Pricey.

Lovely sound quality excellent feel and lasts for months if not strumming. I have always championed elixir for their durability as I'm always on a budget but sometimes for that reason I cant afford them! Always happy with these.

The strings that changed the industry for ever!

Elixirs came and made our lifes so much easier, and it was such a big impact, that nowadays all brands have coated strings.

After that, its only depending on taste if you will love them or hate them. If you like your tone rounder and warmer, mid heavy that takes a lot of treble from the guitar and the amp, to punch through without piercing you ears, then Elixirs Nanowebs are the best of the best! If you like your tone snappy, trebly, and jiggly, look elsewhere!

For decades my favorite strings.

Nice and smooth with great tone

I had these strings on my fender stratocaster and it was a joy to play it with these strings.

I am trying out strings from different brands and so far I am the happiest with Elixir electrics. I am not a fan of the acoustic strings though.

Last forever!!

Whatever "coating" is on these things: It's magical!! I've had a set of these on my main guitar for about 3 months now, no compromise in tone, no grime build up, no nothing!! They make Slinkys look like baby's first strings!! These are incredible. Have converted all my guitars to have these strings. I'm a metal player mostly so 11's are perfect for that heavy tone, and don't break easily when i'm thrashing out heavy riffs. they're stable when downtuned. No complaints at all!!

Best guitar strings

I have used elixir strings on all of my instruments for years. I like the tone and that I don't need to change strings so often. That's it

Perfect tone, long life, friendly to the fingers

I should mention that at some point in my life I developed a genetic condition that irritates the skin of my fingers within 5 minutes of playing uncoated strings and made it too painful to play any stringed instrument. Long story short, it made me give up on the guitar for 3 years.

These strings allowed me to pick it up again after this long and unwanted hiatus and my psychological health and the creative neurons of my brain have Elixir to thank for that.

Most people will buy these for the long string life. There are some of us who are not able to play on any other kind of strings and the fact that these also have great sound with full body is the icing on the cake.

Hope they never stop producing this set!
