I really like these

Very good strings. They have a nice bright sound, feel good and last a very long time. I had a set of these for a year on a guitar and they still sounded good, albeit losing a bit of the sparkly nature they have when they are brand new but they never sound dull and old. I only change them when they brake.

Optiweb breaks less than Nanoweb, playing Schecter Solo II Apocalypse mainly as rhythm guitarist with Dunlop Tortex 0.5

I've used most brands of guitar strings over the years and somehow always ended up with D'Addario.

Elixir strings were mentioned to me several times, but for no specific reason, I never gave them a try. Until now.

What a difference! Clarity, tone, the touch, how long they last...

I'm converted. Well worth the price.

My primary string brand

The sound is pleasant to my ears - bright but just so. I like the feeling of the strings on my fingers. It is smoother than non-coated strings but not so slick as the nano version. I change them after about 80 hours of playing (compared to 40 for normal strings). The quality is superb.

for seasonal players, probably the best choice you can go

For a period of time, I have played very little guitar and left it aside gathering dust on the gigbag. After at least 5 months, the guitar strings still felt "fresh," highly playable and sounding as described.

However, you must put into consideration that after a prolonged time of playing them, the clear coat wears off and become good old quality strings. Im a big fan of these and feel really great for my playing and guitars. I was heavily sceptical for them at first, but instead pleasently surprised by the feel and sound it produced.

Warmly reccomending them to seasonal players, or people that dont wish to change guitar strings every time they decide to pick up that specific guitar again.

Great strings!

I gave these strings for my guitarist brother. He hasn't tried elixir's before and was very impressed! According to him, these were one of the best strings that he has ever tried and long life aspect was noticeable. These would be great for a guitar that is being used less often, but needs to be in a good working (and sounding) condition.

Great long lasting strings

Do you like changing your guitar strings every 2-3 months? I don't.

If you're like me and you bother maybe once every six months and up to a year, these strings will hold up better than most other brands.

Personally I've not noticed anything bad about the sound, and they feel smooth even after a long time. No complaints about these so far, other than the price, but since I change them so rarely, can't really complain about that either.

Great

Elixir Strings are the solution for all musicians that suffer from extra sweaty hands. Every other conventional string set is dead within 1 or 2 hours of playing. Elixir lasts for weeks.

Great tone great durability

I've had a problem with strings getting rusty and dirty really fast, these strings last more than any other I've ever tried.

durable, super tone, no need to lubricate, enough to wash your hands before playing guitar ...

Strings that last the longest

I have been using these strings during quarantine because their "fresh out of the package" tone lasts a lot longer than other string sets.

They also are quite harder to break than the usual strings, and I really need that cause I strum quite hard

Elixir strings do not need to be introduced, their quality is at a high level.

I would like pleasantly! THE PERFECT SOUND WITH PERFECT QUALITY! Playing with these strings I can say for sure that they would not flee into eyes

my go to guitar strings

to be honest I didn't try a bunch of strings a part from the stock that came with my guitars ... but they work they last a long time though they are on the expensive side in my opinion

Long lasting but with natural feeling

I have very, very sweaty hands so I tried these out with the hope that these will last longer.

These are the type with the thinnest coating if I recall correctly.

They feel nice to me, I can't feel anything weird.

The sound is good as well, but I haven't tried that many different strings.
