Amazing durability

I use this string set because no other string set I used so far is as durable as this is.

Well-known quality

Great strings, last long and have pretty good sound. Would prefer a bit more toanz for the pricec but overall great!

Elixir are still the only strings that I can play for a long period of time.

I think price is still reasonable for this quality.

I tried Dunlop, Ernie Ball, D'Addario brands. And as for now I can tell that Elixir are the best. They do not have this age characteristic when it becomes just impossible to play slides on them. All other brands had this issue.

Rating for me is:

Elixir > D'Addario > Dunlop > Ernie Ball

Absolute Joy!

These strings really do made a difference in play. I don't think I would ever use another brand on any of my guitars. I like the tone and that they still sound great now or days later. I approve!

great, long lasting set of strings

I use these on my tele and strat.

10's are the perfect gauge for a fender scale instrument in my experience, loose enough to bend comfortably and tight enough for heavy strumming.

I've used these strings for a few years and they have never let me down. They keep sounding AND playing great for months and months.

You really can't go wrong here, they last for a multitude longer than anything else I've tried.

Top choice for coated strings

The coating of these strings really makes the difference. They don't corrode and the good sound lasts longer (I cannot yet say how long). The more you have wet hands, the more these strings are useful for you. The only competition I am aware of is Earnie Ball's "Paradigm" strings - I did not yet try them out.

Strings of choice

Since I have discovered Elixir strings I use em in all my guitars. Very good tone, extreme comfort, long life.

Great brand for strings!

Recently changed from D'Addario to Elixir. In my opinion, the Elixirs corode not as fast as the D'Addario strings. A great improvement for me personally.

Little muddy but perfect for me

I've been using this strings since it released.

U can see some unrolled pieces of wires near to the ball.

Cloathing is perfect. They really last for long.

Definitely are worth the money.

Best strings you can buy

If you're like me and can't buy a set of strings each week then buy these. Their sound lasts for months just like when you put them on for the first time. Amazing tone, they don't get rusty and they always feel premium. My go-to set for years now.

Best strings on the market

I have used these for about 5 years now on every guitar i own. Normal strings just degrade too fast for me.

Amazing strings, incredibly durable

The Elixir Optiweb are not the best sounding strings out there, but their durability is something almost unbelieavable. In some cases they last more than 6 months in my guitars, losing only a fraction of their original sound. And I never had a broken Elixir. Again. there are definitely better sounding strings out there, but this product is amazing.

Best strings ever

I tried them once and never looked back. They are really smooth and fast and perfect for slide vibrato. Ideal for people with sweaty fingers.

Very very slinky, but dull sounding.

They last a long time and are very slinky if that?s your thing.

Cannot play them before my hands are sweaty and my fingers slip off the strings, I need strings that will grab the tips of my fingers.

It?s like they are surrounded by plastic, they slip and sound very dull.

But they do like a long time.

But to me, sound and feel is more important than how long they last.

I went back to Daddario NYXL?s and Ernie Ball Cobalts

Hi Quality strings

Hi quality strings, with no rust after playing for hours. The sound quality is also superb!

My only choice

Since I first tried them I never turned to other strings. On all my guitars only Elixir Optiweb.

Great for sweaty fingers.

For a long time I had to change strings every week they would literally have signs of use after 5 minutes of using them. (Bronze coloured spots where I bended them) I believe it to be caused by my very sweaty hands.

These strings however lasted for a month now and are still shiny like new. I can't believe it.

In case you are wondering I use GHS Fast Fret to clean them and I have them on stainless steel fretted Chapman ML-1 RS6. I clean my strings both before and after playing and if I play longer than hour I would clean them after an hour of playing.

They are actually cheaper than any other strings cause they outlast them so much.

Great sound and two times longer lasting than any other strings I have been using...

The best strings I've ever tried!

I use them for practice at home, they sound really great and the most important thing is the smooth feel when you play. These strings definetely last so much longer than any usual strings, this is really useful especially when having a floyd rose guitar.

* Pros: Long life , smoothness, decent price.

* Cons: not really a con, but would like Elixir to put an extra high E string in case something goes wrong :)
