Great quality and good sound for days

Am still looking for perfect set of strings for my tuning and style of playing. Tried these for C standard tuning and loved how they performed. Being a bit of a costly set, they are not the ones which i would feel okay to change too often, but i think these are the strings I'm gonna take to recording session next time

Amazing durable and bright sound.

I placed a wire order a few months ago. And I was really amazed when I tried it. If you are constantly doing partik and you don't have much money, you won't stay halfway.

Trusty Elixir

I'm using Elixir strings on my guitars because they give a brilliant bright sound and they last for much longer than other strings.

Great thicc strings

The gauge is really heavy and on my 25½" guitar I can go as low as drop A. Be aware that with higher tunings (even drop D) is hard to bend and you feel the tension of the strings while playing.

Great long lasting strings

Reliable long lasting strings, would recommend to someone who does not want to change strings too often, but still wants to keep that fresh strings sound as long as possible.

Hooked on Elixir over ten years now.

My main strings to play with. I'm down-tuned to C, so you can imagine all other brands broke off after a week or two. Especially the top 3 strings. Not these guys, they last twice as much if not more! I recommend them to anyone. Drink responsibly though...

Amazing set of strings

As a professional musician, I go for elixir all the way! I love the feel & sound. I strung these up on my guitar and tuned it to D standard. What a sound! Feels amazing too.

Elixir is a premium brand

This gauge is dedicated to my jazz semi hollow body guitar. It really love all sound details which this set provides. It’s well balanced and clear.

Feel like new

I bought these strings 28 days ago, and they still feel like new! I recommend them if your Ernie Balls are rusting quick!

Best strings on the market. Surdy, break-proof, beautiful sound. These and the ones for the acoustic guitar, I don't trade them for any other brand.

The legend!!

I'm not a huge fan of elixir.. it's not smooth to play and the sounding is cold. I prefer the new model.. much better feel, but its nice to dont have to think about replacing strings for the next 6 months. Give a try to elixir.. but pay attention if it stays in tune all long the neck after 3 months, even without oxidation ;)

Great durable tone

Been using Elixir strings for years and they're the more consistent strings tonewise.

Best choice

I have been using this strings for a while, sound amazing, keep the intonation and doesn?t need to be changed so often, this week I didn?t have a set for to use and I have to use other brand that it?s suposed to be amazing, what a difference, I will chage the strings again for to put Elixir as soon as possible they are the best choice.

My choice from now on.

I never got the whole thing with Elixir strings before, so I decided to give them a go.

Even though the price tag may seem a lil high at first glance, it's well worth every cent.

Usually, guitar strings would lose their shine from the first few days of playing, and the tone followed closely after. With these strings, I can go for months without losing playability OR tone ! I was pleasantly surprised to see that they didn't lack in any aspect after one month of intense playing! I'm never going back to other strings again (maybe just to try a few, but that's it). Elixir's the way to go.

And even though they're not too heavy (I've had 12-60 once), they do keep their tightness in very low tunings (I like to keep my guitar in C standard and sometimes go to drop A#, and they still don't get flabby).

I'd say that everyone should try Elixir strings at least once in their lifetime, they've been a real gamechanger for me and I'd recommend them to anyone!

The fat ones

I used them on a modded Fender Mexico Stanart Strat with Humbuckers. They feel quite different if You are used to 9 or 10 strings but they are typical Elixir strings, smooth and hold on a veeeeery long time. The sound i really nice and a bit percussiv in my opinion. If you work a lot with bendings you should use thinner ones or train your fingers, they are really hard to bend. Also, if you have a strat or another guitar with a Vintage Tremolo you will need to tighten the springs on the back or add an extra one because the tension is quite high in comparsion to standart 9 or 10 strings. It's a personal thing which sound you like and on which strings you play the best but the quality is goog as always from elixir :)

Brilliant strings for down tuned rock.

I have been using light gauge (10-46) Elixir strings on my Strat and Les Paul and 12 gauge bronze for acoustics for quite a while now and love them, I wouldn't use anything else. Having acquired a rock style guitar (Godin Freeway) that I really didn't really have much use for I decided to experiment by putting heavy strings on and tuning down to D. What a sound!!! It sounds amazing! I'm not really a big metal fan (and it's not really an out and out metal guitar) but I can hear (and feel) that these strings would be absolutely amazing for anyone who would want to play low tuned metal or rock without buying a 7 string or baritone guitar. I use it for heavy blues based stuff ( think Gibbons,Bonamassa, Haynes). They make a pretty ordinary sounding guitar sound massive. Like all Elixir strings they seem to last forever. Highly recommended.

My go to strings

I use these strings on my short-scale Fender Jaguar with a half-step-down tuning and I love the sound and durability these strings offer not to mention the tone these strings retain - amazing. If you clean your strings and fretboard after playing, the Elixirs will sound as new for much longer compared to regular strings without the Nanoweb coating. These strings are fairly thick so bending takes quite a lot of strength even with the half-step-down tuning - but it's manageable. I highly recommend the Elixir strings to anyone who is looking for a durable high-quality product, these have never let me down both in the studio and live.
