Elixir Nanoweb Custom Light Phosphor Reviews
the best
I use them on all my acoustics... They just sound great and last longer...
Definitely worth paying a little extra
I've had a set of these on an acoustic in the house for around 2 years, and they still sound like I put them on last week. The slight increase in price is far outweighed by the extra durability, and consistency of sound. There is no noticeable difference in the way the string feels, or sounds with the nanoweb coating, but they are able to withstand so much more playing without corrosion / dulling. Would definitely recommend for any regularly gigging guitarists who would like to go through fewer sets of strings.
My favorite strings
Elixir are my favorite strings. I use these on my Taylor baby. The sound is great and the tension is exactly what I need.
Not my bag
don't like them.. they feel weird under fingers and there is something off with the sound. can't say what.
they do last longer.. or maybe I am just not playing them often :)
So great strings
Everything is amazing with Elixir strings; quality, sounding performance, sustainability, durability, so else to ask for? It is all we need.
Amazing strings
Tone is so impressive from these. Second to none
In my opinion these are the best strings for guitar
Great sound
Love the sound, but to early to say will they remain like that longer than cheaper strings.
Why would you buy anything else?
Long lasting and no sacrifice in tone. The best strings available.
What else can be said?
Elixirs all the way. Tried different brands and none of them (including the new D’addario’s XS) held up for so long. My hands are extremely sweaty and these strings in the combination with using GHS Fast Fret can easily tripple the lifespan of other brands, maybe even more. So at the end they will cost you less than cheaper strings because you won’t be changing them that often.
Fire&forget solution
I put these on my Harley Benton OOO size every christmas and they stay on for a year. I rarely play the guitar (less than once a week), and these strings are a good solution for me for this usage. They don't corrode and although loose that "new string" feeling and sound within days, they are consistent throughout the rest of the year.
Best Strings in Town
I wanted to see what all the fuss was about.......
Put them on and heard them sing🎵🎶🎵.Then wondered why i had'nt been using them for years.........
Inconclusion as a player for 35+ yrs sound + feels great , in my opinion best strings ever👌🏻
Great strings
Always choosing those strings, bright and pure sound, i like it.
The best strings that I have used in over 50 years of playing.
I have played in many bands, have worked as a session musicisn and recording engineer and I have found these strings to have the most pleasing tone and longevity of any that I have used. I have tried oyher coated strings but I keep coming back to Elixir.
The best
These are the best strings i ever had for my acoustic guitar, wonderful tone, feels good playing and it lasts forever.
Best long lasting strings
I have stuck with these for 4 years now and they never disappoint.
They can honestly turn a $300 guitar into a $500 guitar.
Perfect for my acoustasonic
Just right for the acoustasonic S, go for them!
Only strings that I use for my acoustic
Yep, they are a bit dear but they last ages and sound sublime. Try 'em and you'll get it...
Bright tone
I definitely think that the elixirs are the best string, they are best suited to the bright tone. They don t loose the tuning and is very durable as a material.
The king of acoustic
The elixir nanowebs are the king of acoustic strings. Crisp and longlasting.
After having tried multiple brands these are my go-to strings for acoustic
