Is it worth it?
I do like these strings, they have a very nice feel to them, the sound is almost the same as daddario uncoated, but I'm not sure they last the two to three times longer that the price warrants. All guitarists should try a set of elixirs once to see if they work for them.
Solid and lasting
Whether or not they sound too bright depends a lot on the guitar. But quality and lifetime wise they are just the best.
