The Best Strings

I have been using Elixir 13s for years and, with regard to tone and strength, nothing lasts as long. Used Martin strings previously but they always died after one gig.

Best acoustic guitar strings on the market

I use Elixir's acoustic and electric guitar strings since forever, they have a beautiful sound and are unbreakable, at least for me. Never used a different brand since I have used them for the first time, and certainly don't intend to.

The fat strings

I use these fatter strings on my Lowden O25 as I always play in DADGAD tuning !

Elixir are the best strings I tried so far. Easy and pleasant to play, and last for really long.

A keeper

I use these strings for 2 years now, and this is my third set. I play almost every day, and change strings every 6 months - thanks to Elixir. Otherwise I would have to change strings every 3 weeks, but these strings last and last. Due to the 13 gauge, the strings are extra stable and a delight to play for heavy-hand-players such as myself. With the first set I was afrait my guitar is going to snap, but it didn't happen and the sound is very focused. They stay in tune, and I rarely have to correct.

My 'go to' acoustic strings

In my opinion nothing beats these strings for live acoustic guitar. Night after night they stay bright and don't get that awful gritty feel that can impede your playing and make your fingertips black or slow them down.

If you're not used to playing them then you might think they're a bit slippy feeling but you soon get used to it. Elixir nanoweb phosphor bronze are a bit more expensive than regular sets but they are worth the money for my purposes.

Best acoustic strings on the market

I purchased these because they came stock on my Taylor GS mini and it was time for a restring, out of all the acoustic strings I've heard these sound by far the best and have the longest life, so less time changing strings and more time playing!

Great Strings

These are excellent strings that seem to last forever. The tone withstands heavy gigging even when it gets sweaty.

Love'em

I don't mind the slippery feeling of the coating, especially on the higher guage strings, helps me with my slides, does't bother me at all with bending, and the last a liftime :)

The sound is good, stays fresh for a long time, like an uncoated string after one days use, and they stay that way for months.

Definitely worth the extra euro!

Best strings out there

These are my favorite strings, really phat sound and they last forever. In my opinion these sound best when they get a bit dirty and worn down. They tend to be bright when they're new.
