Good tone but the does not last longer.

Reasonable strings!

They are cheap so I wouldn't expect them to be as fancy as the cobalt series that I rather prefer. But sound ok overall.

I tried them as other guitarists I knew raved about them. This was one of three sets of EB that I tried and then went back to D'Addario. Strings I guess are a personal choice and these did not work well for me

Ernie Ball strings are a basic choice for any guitar player. Not the best, but they're available just about everywhere and don't cost too much. Snarly, trebly sound of a fresh string when first put into guitar but after a couple hours of playing the sound becomes more balanced. The quality remains consistent between sets.

Ernie Ball Power Slinky strings

These strings enjoy the endorsement of many well known artists. However, in my opinion they are overrated. The string durability is poor, both in terms of brightness (they tend to go dull rather soon) and actual string colour which has a tendency to turn a copper-like colour. As I said, they are overpriced for what they are. I used to use the EB Slinky strings in the past, when I wasn't as experienced a guitarist as I am now and even then I thought the strings' lifespan was rather short, even with regular cleaning. For their price they are okay strings, yet overpriced.
