Ernie Ball 2220 Reviews
A great option
I play as an amateur and I really enjoy this one. I enjoy mostly heavy music and these is one my favorite strings set at the moment. They're doing their job! The only complaint I have is that they wear out pretty quickly.
Great strings you can rely on
I've been using various gauges of slinkies for years now. They're consistent and sound great. I've never felt any need to change.
Good value for money electric guitar strings. Good sounding and don't take too long to "break".
Buena compra.
Perfecto para afinar a Eb estándar.
Perfect heavy strings
My go to strings. Perfect sound for heavy riffs
Standard and reliable
Not way too awesome set of strings, but they deliver what they're meant to do, always used them since they're a balance between quality and budget.
11's
Nice strings, put them on my Squire Jazzmaster to thicken up the sound
Very good strings for harder sound
2220 strings are really good for a hard rock or metal type of sound, but of course you can play other genres as well.
Excellent strings
Exsellent strings, ballanced and full sounding. Not overly bright. Overall a great string brand these Slinky strings.
Custom Gauge quality
Good quality custom gauge, the right combination for my Fender Jaguar, I love the spread from chunky to shiny. Always great from Ernie
They are Strings
If you like Ernie Ball strings, you are already here buying them. Everybody likes different strings, I like these, have used various gauges of them for years on all sorts of instruments and never had any problems.
nice
Had these strings for a few times in several guitars for C# standard tuning. Sounded ok, felt good but didn't last too long, guess my sweat corrodes this material faster. Overall decent
You can never go wrong with a set of ernie balls
Ernie Ball always deliver
I usually uses ernie ball superslinky 9s, but i wanted to try the powerslinky 11s set, since some of my favorite guitar players use it!! They deliver a more focused heavier tone than the 9s, that's really awesome for rythm playing!! The strings though are a bit more stiff that the 9s making soloing and bending a little harder!! I definitely recommend them for rythm players!! For shredders if they want a heavier rythm tone than 9s i'd recommend skinny top heavy bottom!!
Standard strings
Friend is using these, he likes them. I write review. They seem fine to him.
Ernie Ball great value great sound lasts forever
Excellent. I always use them and they last a long time
Decent for the price.
As the title says; obviously these won't sound as good as some proper D'addario's or anything, but in this price range, you probably won't find much better for this string gauge. Only other comment i can make about these is that they tend to wear out a bit too fast for my liking.
Still worth it considering the price, but just beware.
My kind of strings
Super strings, they don't buzz and stay close to the fretboard. They last months of irregular use, or a solid 40-45 days with every day use.
the best
perfect strings for a stable drop C tuning!
Best sounding strings
The're not the longest lasting, but they are the best sounding strings i ever played.
All artist listed on package don't play them for no reason.
