Not their fault, Elixir are the only strings that last more than a couple of hours playtime, acoustic or electric.

I just wish they weren't so expensive but still cheaper than replacing strings on 4 guitars every 7 or 10 days

My favourite strings

I have used Ernie Ball 2221 for all my electrics for 7-8 years now. I have tried others but always go back to this one really quick. Great strings that fits my playing. I tend to be a bit hard on the strings, but I never brake strings after I started using this one.

Great Strings

i bought 3 packs of these strings when I first bought them as I break strings very often. That was 4 months ago, and they have still lasted for me. They sound great and are just a well made string.

Best strings out there

I have used this strings for many years now, and i intend to use them for many more.

For the price, you can't get any better strings. They are smooth, great under your fingers and last a while. Never had any issues with breaks, and i know to dig in really hard at them sometimes.

I've been using Ernie Ball strings on my bass for more than 10 years, and always found them reliable and great-sounding.

Now learning guitar, these sound significantly better than the stock strings on my sc-450plus (d'addario).

Can't play without them

Look, you need strings. These are the standard - if you don't know what to get, get some slinkys as they are probably the most liked and played type of guitar string. Sure, there's loads of other brands out there making all sort of weird strings, but you'll be paying more and it's more likely that you won't get along with them since they'll be different. Slinkys on the other hand are cheap, won't break and you get to buy something with that cool font on a lime green background. At this point, you'd be mad to do otherwise. Stay slinky people
