Best strings
I was recommended on my list, I used to be a huge fan of elixir strings, and I still am..but after using Ernie ball strings, I bought a pack..loved it
Best strings. Period!
These have been my favourite strings since forever. I have a very heavy strumming and fretting hand so I break and wear strings all the time so these are cheap and get the job done.
Best Quality Strings at a Good Price
These are always my go to strings that last and always sound good at an affordable price.
Good strings
They are overall a good set of strings, but as I don’t consider myself a heavy bender, I think 10 days is not the longest time of durability. But of course they don’t have some special coating on them, so I guess it’s okay.
Tried out a ton of different strings and these are the best
Tried out quite a few different sets of strings from different brands and these are my favorite by far.
Affordable, sound good, don't come caked in a slippery layer and last quite a long time, provided you keep them clean, which I always do anyway.
Highly recommended!
love the strings long time
The gauge feels great to me. Handles my dropped and unorthodox tunings and keeps tone for a long time. I've used EB stings for 25 years.
Standard
On a break from d'Addario strings, better nor worse: just needed a break, cut me some slack goddammit!
Great value
Nice strings that last pretty long with a good sound and are cheap enough to replace often.
Great Strings
A nice set of strings with a nice bright sound.
Only complaint would be that they tend to rust a bit quick, but that could also be because of the weather of where i live where there is a lot of humidity.
best electric strings you can buy
what more can you say about ernie ball? they are simply the best strings you can buy!
Classic and root strings
Very straightforward and effective strings. I always know the sound I am getting from this set of strings as it is well manufactured and have a very good quality. Although they are not coated, they have an anti-corrosion treatment for their life inside the hermetic package and I believe, for their life mounted on the guitar. I may experiment many set of strings but this is the one I always end up buying.
A classic!
i use the regular slinky on all of my guitars and they are amazing.
really good sound and feel. i don't really have any cons.
A trusted classic
I have consumed so many of these strings. Or rather, my guitars have.
They last a fairly long time, bends well. As a the dirty human being I am, they pick up quite a bit of gunk over a few months, as they do not seem to be coated, but after a few months they should be replaced anyway (I play 0.5-3 hours a day).
Will buy again. And again. And again. And.
The legendary Ernie Ball
What's there to say about this awesome set that hasn't been said? Everyone knows who and what they are - and let's not kid ourselves, the packaging is one of the most recognizable on the market.
Personally, I prefer them for my Les Paul guitars, maybe just personally, but I think it makes the guitar sound "fatter" than D'Addarios, but I'm pretty sure that's only me.
Been using Ernie Balls for over a year now and haven't had a single string break - it's usually just the regular string change that makes me switch over to new ones.
For your E standard goodness on shorter scale Les Pauls, there's nothing better for me.
Excellent
I like EBs and Dads! Slink in EBs is great, DADs make better pure nickels ...
These are great strings..
New Strings
Perfect strings as they are an all rounder if you vary play styles.
Excellent price/quality ratio.
Very nice strings for the right price.
My favorite strings for a good price.
Perfect ones for home
Changed my old 0.09s on an Epi SG for this 10s from Ernie Ball - it's like a new guitar) Highly recommended.
Know quantity - great strings
If you don't have some specific need concerning strings the EB string are fine for most music genres. If I had to mention a downside this would be that their life is on the short side but that's it
