Ernie Ball 2221 Reviews
Best strings in my opinion, sound and feel is fanatastic, but they get rusty after 3/4 weeks.
Great...
Great set of guitar strings with affordable pricing.
One of my favourite guitar strings for sound and wear

Excellent price/quality ratio.

Solide Saiten
Guter Ton, gutes Spielgefühl und gerissen sind die mir noch selten..
Always reliable
My personal go-to string choice for electric guitar. Always reliable. They sound good and this lasts for a long time. You cannot go wrong with these strings.
Great set, nice sound, not very long living doh.
What you expect from Ernie Ball
You get what they offer. Great quality for a reasonable price. Brightness and clarity sound off your strings. Couldn't be more satisfied with this on my Schecter Hellraiser frets (which by default comes with these strings).
Long Time User...for a reason!
I have tried many different string manufacturers and whether it is the specific chemistry of my fingers or my style (and regularity) of playing, but I find that other manufacturers strings don't last as long. They soound really bright and are excellent for string bending and vibrato.
Default strings
Can?t go wrong with ernie ball, used 9s, 10s, 11s a and 12s for electric guitar and they are all great.
great strings
i've tried multiple kinds of strings from this brand and d'addario, love both, no complaints.
All time favorite
Cheap and works great.
I cannot say I tried a lots of different brands, but I am quite happy with the sound and quality, as well as the overall "spirit" and visual design.
I usually change them every 6 month :-) they lost their brightness in the first weeks, as with most strings, and then are very stable.
Best bang for the buck
Nice strings with good and crisp sound. These stay perfectly in tune.
Sounds perfect!
Why don't buy Ernie Ball?!
It sounds like strings of angels. Of course, there is archangels, and some more high-tier creatures, but why we should think about them?
In September (2 months ago), i bought my first electic guitar Epiphone LP Studio LT. It came with strings from the facility. As I am the newbie, i decided to leave them where they been, and start to practice WITH them. I'm not rich, to be honest, i'm living on my parents money. So, i gave a chance to that strings to show them fully (played with them whole 2 months).
The time has come for cleaning fret, and changing strings. I did it. Guess what? I FELT THE DIFFERENCE WITH FINGERS. I'm seriously, if previous strings were like dull knife, these feels like mouse paws! I mean, they are tenacious, they are clingy, they are comfortable to play with...
So, now it 2nd week of my using These wonderful Ernie Ball 2221. If you a newbie like me, or just don't want to THINK TOO MUCH about strings, this pack is - must have.
p.s. i have checked some of more expensive premium-tier strings, sure that i will check it later.
but for now, i'm totally satisfied
The best strings
These strings are the best. If you play in E Standard or E Flat, go for them. They're perfect.
I play every day, with sweaty fingers, and the strings last for 2-3 months.
The price is another big advantage. You can easily change the strings 4-5 times/year, without spend a lot of money.
Pros:
> durable (around 2-3 months)
> stay in tune
> control of bending, even with sweaty fingers
Cons:
> corrode quickly (at least, they have a good price)
Best one
Just classic. I've been using Regular Slinky for 25,5 scale and Power Slinky for 24,75 scale for a long time.
Ernie Ball Regular
The best string set for electric guitar. Period.
Quality, basic
Very good, quality strings. Long-term solution for a guitar. Can handle heavy playing and some nice, easy 'jazz' tones ! I always choose Ernie Ball !
