My preferred

After testing sooooo many strings (I am 57 yo) this is my preferred set for my Gibson and Fender guitars. On some guit I use the yellow, on some other the green. Ciao.

Talking about guitar strings is like the tonewood debate: never gonna get any conclusion. After trying strings from a few well knows makers I must say they all make quality strings however I settled on these gauge Ernie Ball set and it's not that much how they sound but how they feel.

For regular Gibson scale guitars this set is suited to almost any kind of music as long as you don't downtune to the center of the earth.

Also the packaging is great!

I?ve tried a number of strings, and somehow I always end up on Ernie Ball 2221. For me it has a superb blend of sound, stability, predictability and endurance. It does everyhing of everyhing very well. You can?t really go wrong with this one.

The only way to find the best strings is to put the money down install it and then try them out. Only your fingers can tell you which strings have the advantage. I left the Ernie Ball's for awhile, and when I came back, it was like coming home. So for me, the Ernie ball are just right. The perfect string and still affordable !

Durable strings for a low price and a good sound

I use this strings for years on all my guitars. The reason therefore is cause they sound wonderfull, give me a nice sound spectrum with lots of warmth. There good for every type of song and style. It doesn't matter if you're a rhythm player or solo guitarist, you'll find all your needs by this strings. Bendings are nice and smooth, the tone well ballanced and they last long. For me no better strings than this Ernie Balls

These strings sound great. They really do not last long, but they are not meant to do so. I use them for on a LP standard and have never changed after trying other brands.

Been using Ernie Ball strings for years, and had it in all my guitars. It performs really well, have the right amount of brightness, and are smooth to play with. Just now I've tried some thicker strings for a smaller scale guitar, and all the familiar things were there, so I got confortable right away.

Every time I open those nice packages I feel like a kid at Christmas, really. Their marketing team should be very proud, as well as their R&D!
