Like it!
You can't go wrong with this set. I used D'Addario Nickel Wound before and Enrie's feels smoother. Like it.
Great strings, good quality, last for a decent period and don't sound bad when signs of use become visible. Never had any problems with them and never used any others after discovering these.
Great product for a good price
I've been using Ernie Ball strings for years on different guitars. The sound is bright and clear. They are strongly built. I've never had a string break on me or had any major issues. The only problem is that the sparkle wears out pretty quickly. However, for this price Ernie Ball strings are definitely a good buy.
Ernie Ball Strings Are The Standard
The bell curve for guitar players. Do an initial stretch and they stay in tune.
Love them
I've tried different brands throughout the years but i always end up coming back to these. I love Ernie's.
This is the standard from where all other manufactures follow.
super!
number one!my favorite strings for many years
Versatile and long-lasting
Perfect string gauge for standard tuning, and having tried d'addario NYXL, Elixir and Fender strings I came back to the good old EB and I'm happy with them.
Great work everywhere!
I used to use Ernie Ball strings since 2008, they are made in very good quality, they do a great work on stage but in studio too, reliable and lasting!
Awesome partner for my Les Paul!
I will keep using these
They work great, been using these for a while. If I ever want to try different string gauges I will most likely go for Ernie Ball again.
These are great for more of an all-round play style, although "heavy top" is great for more of that metal/punk sound if you are looking for something like that.
Best Strings no doubt
I always use Ernie Ball Regular Slink. Always have and always will.
You won't get better for the price
Or even at higher prices.
When I was about 17 I walked into my local store ready to change strings brand as whatever I was using then had a habit of rusting too quickly. I remember thinking: is he just selling me the strings in the pink pack because I'm a girl? Whatever the salesman's reasons, I was incredibly happy about the quality I'd got for my money. I soon moved on to the .10's as I personally find them easier to play, and it's the brand I've been using ever since.
I can't really speak for breakage issues while playing as I do so quite lightly, but I do tend to change tunings a lot and apart from the odd G string here and there over the years I haven't had any problems.
Not for me
I don't know why, but I really don't like Ernie Ball strings.
Maybe it's because I enjoy playing downtuned metal (on other guitars), but when I restrung my strat with these it just felt too bendy. They seem to wobble around and just don't feel right.
I have since replaced them with D'Addario XLs in 9-46 and I'm much happier with the feel. I can't comment on the sound as I changed them back out pretty quickly.
Not for me.
Replaced D'Addario and very pleased
Nice strings!
Sound is somewhat sharper with more "classic" tone on strat.
Hard to beat on price/quality ratio.
No problems to hands , it feels same as D'Addario for me.
What else one could wish?! :)
Highly recommended.
Great Strings, Great Price
recommended for a Fender scale/25.5" guitar. these might be a little too loose on a Gibson IMO. Great strings though, just a little bit too light for me.
Ernie Ball are great also, don't go for cheaper/ off-brand strings. it's worth it to get the real thing, very reliable, reasonably priced and sound awesome.
My go-to strings
I use Regular Slinkys with my Stratocasters and they stay pristine for a long time. Trustworthy strings that can take bending and agressive playing syle too.
Good quality.
Very pleased with these strings. Would buy again
The industry standard
Pure and simple, great medium gauge strings, great price
Ernie Ball are the best guitar strings there are
Never had a problem with these. No fuss and no nonsense?they just work. My Les Paul and my Strat sound amazing whenever newly strung with them, and they feel awesome to bend on.
That tone, of course, doesn't last long if you're playing 2-3 hours or more per day, but I find with Ernie Ball they actually also sound good as they age and wear out. Different, but good, which is why I choose them. With other strings I've tried they really sound dull after a week.
The ability to customise your gauge by buying individual strings is a brilliant plus also with these. I could not get my SG to tune to C sharp with the readily available gauge sets I found on the net. With Ernie Ball I could customise my third string to work properly and intonate well and bend properly.
Recommended.
Nice quality for electric guitar strings
Very good balanced price/quality strings.
I think it is very good for rock/jazz/blues.
For Telecaster I use other strings, more bright (Elixir).
