Great strings

My favorite electric guitar strings, long lasting, great quality.

I've been using the Regular Slinkies for years now. They sound good and rarely break.

My standard strings!

The Ernie Ball Regular Slinky guitar strings are my choice of strings on barely all of my guitars for years now. I use them especially for standard tuning and half step down. The overall quality is really good. The good sound is obtained over a long span of time and I also have no problem of broken strings. Some people prefer to change the strings within a few weeks, I keep the Ernie Ball Regular Slinkies for about a year on my guitars and I can?t complain about the sound but I recommend using Fast fret to keep the strings in a good shape if using them for that quite long time.

Top Value for the Money!

I have been usung Ernie Ball Strings since 1995 and yes I have tried other brands, but this one is still my top choice. I use them in the studio and live and the they most definitely satisfy all my requirements in terms of sound, quality and durability. Because of having light form of Tendinitis, I also use them on acoustic guitar and they work out perfectly also there. Highly recommended!

A guitar player staple - and for good reason

Ernie Ball strings are what a consumable product should be : the right balance in affordability vs quality. No guitar strings last forever, but these keep price manageable while still being very good for the purpose intended. Would recommend to any guitar player if they're looking for a balance between quality and affordability.

Isnt it great when your favourite strings are really cheap too?

The slinkys are great. they feel really comfortable and are pretty durable too!

If you dont know which strings to get, have a go at these! You wont be sorry

The strings i choose from now on

I have tried 2-3 different expensive guitar string sets and i have came to the conclusion that getting a budget set like this and changing it every 1-2 months (depending on how much you play and if you have gigs) is the way to go.

They feel and sound great to my ears.

We have been using this type of guitar strings for both our guitars in the band (Fender and Gibson) for many years now. They are the best quality for what we need.

A gold standard for strings

This is a gold standard for electric guitar strings, and for good reasons:

- the gauge is just right and suits well the majority of all types of guitars, giving a perfect combination of tension and clarity;

- while fresh, these strings don't stretch too much and get in tune fast enough;

- the sound quality is quite stable over time, and there is no sharp tone dip - they don't die just immediately after a certain time.

So, it is always a great joy for me to put these strings on any of my guitars.

For this price you can't get better

Standrad quality for USA strings, this strings are great for rock and I trully like it. Great packing as always, easy to use and sound is on level. Great investment and I will buy more for sure.

My Favourite Strings

Ernie Ball 10s, Probably the best strings in the world!

Great tone!

It's not easy to review strings, really. The difference between one set and another can sometimes be tiny.

However, over the last 5 years I've started to use Ernie Ball Regular Slinky's exclusively on all my electrics (and on my acoustics in an emergency!). They're a great combination of strong tone and durability.

I live and gig in the Canary Islands, where sweaty hands are a constant factor, and these strings do seem to last longer than other "non coated" ones. I've never really like coated strings, so that's a real plus.

Great price, good tone, last ages. Recommended!

The best strings

Well I tried a lot of string brands, I was never convinced except with Ernie Ball.

I mostly play bleus and rock, and Ernie Ball is perfect for that. Great sound, long living and almost unbreakable strings. The price is also interesting regarding other brands.

It's been 10 years now that I play the guitar, and I used Ernie Ball during more then 8 years !

Standard

I tried another string brand once, and it just felt cheap in comparison. I'm still experimenting but for me Ernie Ball strings is where I feel most comfortable.

Could string a shovel with it

I use them on my electric guitars. I have never found rust on them but they do wear out after playing sometime. Taking in that I play like a horse, especially if i have some beers before the show, the strings don't break much, but if they do it's probably on a small gig to which i don't bring my back up guitar to ... Been happily playing them for the last five years :)
