Ernie Ball 2626 5-stars Reviews
High quality as always
Ernie Balls are my number one choice for the last decades. Their quality is superb.
Amazing heavy strings
These strings are almost perfect. I use them for standard tuning in D and I really like the tone and feel of heavier strings. The only weird thing for me is the 24p string or 22w string in the Magnum slinky. If you look on the tension charts, a 24p isn't matched for tension in relation to the other strings and a wound third string on electric guitar isn't very nice to play with and much looser at 22w. So I end up having to buy a pack of single 22p strings just to make the set perfect. Apart from that, the set is perfect and you get the tone and feel that you know and love from Ernie Ball.
Perfection
If your down tuning these are the strings for you. Keep in mind you will probably need to make some changes to your guitar, these strings are thick.
My favorite
been using these on my guitars for years, I like the sustain and attack I get from them , perfect fpr drop tuning even though I have played these in standard .
Can never go wrong with a set of Ernie Ball strings
Low Tunings. The ones to go.
The strings have great quality and sound. Except the G string which feels and sounds a bit more beefy, bass-y than it should and kinda loses a bit in leads and soloing parts. Other than that. Great guitar strings for low tunings.

The string is so quality and the customer service good and the price so good too
The definition of heavy
I wanted to drop tune my guitar and what i was after was a really massive heavy sound. After some research i decided to give the "not even slinky" a try!! Boy i was in for a surprise!! As i say in the title, the definition of heavy!! The guitar tone is so massive!! I had to reset the action on the guitar but it was worth it!!
Perfect for drop B
Bought this for drop B or C# standart tuning. It seems to fit perfectly for this tunings. I used them for recordings and concerts.
If you like a more loose feel for strings, you may use them for drop A.
Pros:
-fair price for the quality
Cons:
-in my case I have to change them every 4 weeks, because they get dry and old quickly on my guitar
Conclusion:
Very good product for the price.

Bought these for my son to use on his Hollow Body, a little to much for me, but my son loves 'em, and honestly they do have a beautiful full tone.
This is for strong people
Or metalheads who tune way down. I ended up changing the low E for a 60, still floppy at drop B and C but otherwise great strings.
You can't go wrong!
Ordered these to play some pretty demanding riffs on my guitar.
Strings took the violence pretty well and tuning was on point all along.
You just can't go wrong with these !
I love the quality and flexibility from Earnie Ball strings
This are very good strings whe you use other tunnigs. That was my case and the intonation from the guitar comes a lot easier and my guitar never goes out of tune.
Excellent
Have been using these and other Ernie Ball strings for years. I primarily use the Not So Slinky strings on my Chapman ML3 tuned to CGCFGC and it sounds fabulous consistently and retains its tuning when I'm really getting into a part and hit the strings a little harder than usual.
I guess it's amazing how over looked strings can be. People harp on about tone woods, tubes, pickups and pedals a lot of the time but strings are massively important and these are part of what I would call my sound. While other brands of string are equally as wonderful, Ernie Balls always take pride of place on my instruments.
I love 'em
Great strings I've been using ernie ball for years, I just like the colors on the packaging :D This set in particular is for a C standard tuned guitar, tension is good, nothing unusual about it, feels right. They last about a month before the high strings getting a bit stiff and gritty unless you have some string cleaner!
Balanced set
Optimal for Eb tuning, I use ıt for fingerstyle jazz and enjoy plain G.
For your thicc guitars
For everyone who want that drop B or A sounds but doesn't want/have a 7 string.
My favorite strings!
I use C# tuning on my handmade tele, and these are great for that.
Thicc
I use this on my drop C Les Paul, and it really works great. If you're looking for a fat, heavy set of strings that work with anything below drop C, these are great. Quality is as usual from Ernie Ball, simply the best out there
Great for slide
I use these on a Fender Dual 6 console steel with 22.5" scale length. They allow me to use a reasonable range of tunings without things getting unbalanced or sloppy feeling. Many people like to put brighter sounding steel wound strings on pedal and console steels but for me these nickel wounds do the job just fine- they are still nice and bright as long as you keep them clean, and they never get too "fierce"
Good, consistent Ernie Ball quality, They last well, don't tend to lose their intonation and develop false harmonics, and keep their tone too.
Great quality strings for drop c tuning
Bought these strings as i play mainly in drop C tuning so needed a set that don't feel too 'flubby' when playing open on the low C string.
Strings delivered were in great condition (i've ordered sets off other sites before to find them already starting to rust straight out of the pack!!) not here :)
Good tension but can still play solo's happily.
My go -to string set for metal!
