Bose F1 Model 812
Based on 10 reviews
Before I went to listen to the F1 Bundle I was skeptical as I usually prefer a point source configuration over line array. After gigging with these loudspeakers I was absolutely blown away. The clarity is just worlds apart from anything else out there. You can hear every breath and detail in the vocals and send the sound in the direction you want to. When paired with The Bose F1 Sub the sound is just stunning. It's good deep tight bass, punchy mids and sparkling crisp highs. I'm so impressed I'm going to buy a second set.
EV ELX 115P

My first impression of the EV ELX115P was, excellent, a powerful versatile full range speaker, with the option of adding subs in the future to really enhance the bottom end. A speaker that although it comes with a powerful 1000w of amplification, I was still able to lift it onto its stand without breaking my back! The 15inch just gives you slightly more to work with if you are using the speaker as a full rage cab. However, the 12 inch version in also very good! You still get the excellent audio quality of the 200's for example, but it just looks more modern and could sit just as comfortable in a conference as it would in a folk or rock concert. The units are ply, therefore, I would recommend padded cases! just to keep them looking in great condition. To summarise, excellent powered...

ok so find these at such a low price made me wonder if they had got the code wrong, answer was no, these are the real speakers at this super low price.! so why did i but these and what do i think? i do little mini festivals and set up a huge and heavy pa system for alsorts of music events and also just got into pa driven cinema,"keeps the kids quiet at parties" so lugging around all my heavy duty pa systems around is just too much, epecally now i'm getting asked to do the cinema side of things so had to find a light weight answer without, the amps, the mixers, loads of leads ect just for the cinema.! so hours over the internet i found these babies form the box i was instantly impressed how light they fell for the size and so that was one issue over.! so wireless bluetooth? it...
Behringer B207MP3

Really useful small powered speaker. This is easily loud enough for a small acoustic gig (guitar and a couple of mics). Its not exactly bullet-proof build quality but more than adequate for normal use (some of the knobs feel a little wobbly). Has good range of controls and a really useful feature to play music tracks from usb stick. Can be mounted on a microphone stand as personal monitor. Sound quality is really very good considering the small size. Would be ideal for aerobics class or small church service etc.
QSC K 8.2

I bought a pair of these speakers in my role as a secondary school Head of Music last year. They were superb for rock/pop/jazz band work as well as gigs in large halls and at outdoor events. (They are perfect for spoken presentations, also). I was so impressed that I bought a pair of the same speakers recently for my own band playing. I am not a natural technician but I have found the various functions available from the 8.2s easy to understand with clear illustration from the QSC website. Equipped with an impressive technical spec, they sound very clear across the dynamic range. Sung vocals are particularly clear. The 8.2s are very light to transport and set up. I bought the QSC K Sub subwoofer which, when added to my kit circuit, helps to create wonderful sound at my gigs. I do not have...

These speakers are no joke! I've owned them for about a year but have only used them a handful of times. They are loud and have a lot of clarity. Great for outdoor events. I found that they over power a single 18" sub, so you really need 2x 18" subs per one of these speakers! Simple in design, well built and as I've said, lots of volume. You'll definitely wants the wheels and covers because the boxes are BIG. The handles are a bit awkward and uncomfortable, but I am learning how to lift them now. The paint is a bit flaky and marks/chips easily. I brought these as part of a bundle and love them, but they are not for the physically weak or the faint hearted! :)

Honestly a phenomenal sounding speaker. Was a little unsure about using a loudspeaker for general listening around the house when not using it to it's full potential however it sounds better than the HiFi setup we have. Nothing but good things to say about this. Fantastic bass, great clarity and sounds beautifully warm. I previously ad a ZLX which I wasn't a big fan of, returned it for this and it's leaps and bounds better. The inbuilt DSP is fantastic, honestly sometimes I have to turn the bass down because it rattles the walls. Volume wise this thing really kicks, it goes tremendously loud and I'm only running one of them, I couldn't imagine how good it sounds in stereo with two. Build quality is amazing as expected by Electro Voice, honestly one of the best speakers I've ever...

Originally I was looking for a pair of speakers which were easily portable and still had enough power to use with small events and festivals, in the end I decided to go the next level model of Tbox active speakers which I have used extensively over the last 2 years for around 100 varying gigs and shows. As far as power goes they are perfect, being biamped the load is shared between the bass and treble and as result have only ever had a problem with them once through my own fault of putting a little too much signal through them which unfortunately cracked the internal voice coil, but they are easily replaceable with the parts/serial number and are readily available from various other audio stores and retailers. They sound great for the price, they're clear and bassy in the right amounts...
QSC CP8

I wish I bought this earlier. This is really the best investment I did in playing for +25j. No more dragging around a +30kg VOX amp on stage. Since I play full digital (Helix) this is the best solution for me. It replaces my personal monitor and my amp in one go. It has more than enough power to deliver what I need. It has nice presets to be used as a monitor or a standalone, if you combine 2 of them on a stand, and you add a sub, you can easily play a party up to 500people. It comes with a nice padded bag which makes it easy and safe to transport.

Needed a second pair of speakers to go with an active pair of a few years old Behringer 12s and took a chance with these. Have nothing bad to say about them so far as the only place they have been is our practice place but they feel solid and practical enough. The BT option with pairing speakers for stereo works, still have to get used to enabling it but it works just fine. They are a bit bulky, was expecting them to be a bit smaller but this is splitting hairs. The sound is good, the power is good (for a smaller practice space), but I imagine they have enough power for smaller venues. They do have a little hum/hiss when they are not playing but it is a totally acceptable, you have to be totally silent to notice it. They have a blue light on the front that lights up when there is signal...
