Excellent

Very durable coating. I have it on my snare for about 6 months, still looks brand new. I'm not a hard hitter so this one will probably last forever :) It has less overtones than G1 but still open sounding. I like it tuned pretty high and without any damping. Very nice sound and feel with the brushes.

Evans UV1 14" drumheads/snare

Extremely durable , great coating for brush playing . The sound is a bit too bright and "plastic" due to this technologically advanced coating I'm guessing, comparing to an Remo Ambassador/Evans HD dry/ Evans G1 for instance. Overall , drumhead worth trying for sure.

My favourite snare head

Warm sound, but with a nice attack.

Super durable.

Just wow

I had it on for about 1 month and it almost looke like new

The coating feels more "plasticy" than remo's or event evans usual heads but it sounds and feels good with brushes

Wow! Super durable and nice sounding!

I can't believe how durable this thing is! It got me through the whole summer of gigging without a scratch on it, and I'm a bit of a heavy hitter.

Sounds nice and open, like you would expect from a single ply head.

I bought this head due to playing many different styles & types of music from Orchestral, Pit work for shows, Big band

& Pop + Small Jazz Combo's. For playing brushes the response is second to non. I found the head fitted the drum very nicely & was exceptionally easy to tune. All in all a great snare drum head.
