Crystal clear with moderate bass.

I've had these monitors for 6 years, and for the price they really shine through. They have some of the crispest highs, amongst other monitors, within that price range.

The bass response isn't overwhelming. You might call it a bit underwhelming if you want enough bass frequencies to swim in them, but I find the bass response very likeable and tight. I consider adding a subwoofer, but I haven't had the money for it yet.

The build quality of these monitors is astounding. They've been dropped on the ground from several meters, several times, and yet absolutely nothing has happened to them.

When it comes to support, Eve is rock solid. Every time I've had any complications with the monitors, I've sent them to Eve, and they've quickly dealt with it without any fuzz.

All in all they're solid, well-built, precise monitors, with very clear highs and with precise but moderate bass.

I recommend these monitors, especially for smaller studios.

Very impressive speakers

Disclaimer: these are my first "big boy" studio monitors, the previous monitors were in much lower price range.

I was instantly impressed with the quality and the stereo separation, I could actually hear positions of instruments in a mix that I couldn't before. I also started picking up more errors and it became a lot easier to mix. The other benefit is they sound great in an untreated room and the bass is quite good for the size

Regarding features, these speakers are very customizable, I found the desktop filter very useful and the single knob operation very intuitive. I am very happy with the sound and keep listening to different tracks on them.

On the negative side, the build quality is not as careful as some of the cheaper ones I used, I can see gaps and glue being uneven. Also, the provided rubber "feet" have no dedicated placement which makes it slightly more difficult to set up on a desk.
