Fender Champion 100 5-stars Reviews
Very Good!
I use it in the studio and live performances . Great tool for quality , reliability and price. Recommended!
This amp is great for trying to overpower every other member of your band
Gig worthy clean channel
This beefy combo is a great addition to an amp stable as a backup for a working guitarist. Granted, the overdrive settings and distortion settings are ok to mess around with but not that great for gigging, but the clean channel! Well it's awesome as a base for pedals. As a solid state combo it's light (relative to valve amps) and is great for chucking in the back of the car for band practice and is a great backup amp.
The clean channel is honestly very close to a clean valve amp although you won't get pushed overdrive from it, but that's what pedals are for. If you want an amp which breaks up then this isn't for you. But for a backup amp and as a base for pedals its a really good amp and great for those gigs where you don't want to take you're half stack!

Really Good Value
We bought this for the lead guitar in the band as we needed something at a budget price that looked and sounded OK.
It really is a very good amp. I know all about the valves v. tranny amp debate but things have moved on from the 1970s and today you get excellent sound, good volume and nice build quality. The Champion is hard to beat even with amps costing much more. Fender do take their amp build seriously and have put some effort into getting this model right.
If you, like us, are on a bit of a budget then this will not let you down. It looks the business and sounds perfectly OK.
Champion
Great value for money, not too far away from the sound of a Fender twin. I like it a lot.
Great for jazz guitar.
Fender Champ 100
Great rugged amp that can withstand knocks in any live situation, with a strong carry handle its also very easy to carry around from transport to the venue.
With such a low sound this amp is great for playing all types of music from blues to metal, as its eq controls are easily accessible to adjust to the players preference.
I love the FX dial that has many of useful FX from a wah filter to delay to reverb, they are easy to toggle with the provided foot switch and easy to control with the FX level dial.
The different OD models really help this amp sound just they way you want it to sound, from it simulating a Blackface to Tweed or from Jazz to British Distortion.
For anyone starting to gig on a regular basis, look further as this amp is perfect for anyone playing in pubs or in small-medium venues.
Amp Review
Hay!
Here is a review of this amp.
When it come home, i was shocked. In picture it looks not so big, but when i open the box.. It was in my mind: OMG this is huge. And yes.. I plugged him in the power. And then here we go:
About 1st channel:
- very nice Fender Style clean sound. And all of effect just for clean channel. This is so crazy. I really like the WAH WAH effect, because it sounds very easy, very great for funk. I also really like reverb, because when you play for example Nothing Else Matthers with FX Level: 10 it sounds amazing.
- All other things you would know when you buy it and use it.
About 2nd channel:
-This Brittish Style in 2nd channel is very good with gain between 7 and 8. It sounds like Rolling stones.
-Metal style: very nice and heavy sound, for your riffs .
For the end: You should buy it, because is very nice, good power (100W) and sound it just gorgeous.
Very good amp
This amp is my first "big" amp so I don't have mutch to compare to. But I can honestly say that the sound of this amp is very powerfull and because of the effects you can have fun playing around with it. I enjoy the fact that there is two channels and you can choose different sounds on bouth side but I would like this even more if there would be a mid-control on both channels. Anyway the footswitch that is included in tge package is perfect on my opinion; simpple and easy to use, just like the amp itself: it doesn't require you to be a rocket scientist to get a unique sound out of this.
Compact and powerful
Plenty of options, eliminates the need of so many external effects. Sounds great even at 90% volume. Equally good for my acoustics collection and for electric range I have. I have chosen this one after having chance to test 3 other makesin the same power range
Fantastic
As I expected from Fedner. Nice looking good quality amp. The switich is very usefull while playing, the price is realy good and sound is amazing for this price range. This is well build quality amp. 100% Recomended.
