Beautiful addition to a beautiful bass

I purchased this to house one of my partners basses I had bought him as a gift. He loves to collect signature basses, and also older basses. He adores fender bases and also fender accessories. This was gorgeously presented, and used to keep one of his more prized basses safe. Really sturdy case, would be good for lighter gigs also. The vintage look is really cool. It offers a great looking case with all the pros of good instrument protection.

Really low quality compared to older hard cases by Fender

I grew up in a home with Fender vintage guitars. I recently bought a 1976 Fender P-Bass, which came without the hardcase, so (based on the quality of modern molded plastic Fender cases) I thought I'd rather buy a new one. For my surprise, when the case arrived I noticed the construction and materials used are very cheap. After a few years carrying my bass around, I don't think these new hard cases will endure the test of time like the old ones did.
