Fender Rumble 25 Reviews
Great Amp for practicing at home!
I've been doing some research before purchasing my first bass guitar & Amp, thinking the Fender Rumble 25 might not meet my expectations, but so far this thing has been a blast! I live in a somewhat small apartment (~40 sqm) and I rarely use the Amp above ~40% volume. Personally, it's loud enough for me (and perhaps for my neighbors) :) It has enough settings to allow you a lot of nice customizations and the sound is of good quality. I love it!
Disturbingly powerful amp
Bought his with a Xmas voucher from my wife - and holy god, it can put out a LOT of bass! Love the direct input (for playing along with music from my phone) and the overdrive button to add a lil' bit of growl when it's required.
Living room amp
I bought this amp to accompany my new Squire P-bass. It is a good practice amp, it let's the sound through cleanly so that I can hear my mistakes. It responds well to the instrument's tone and volume controls. It is loud enough to play with acoustic guitars and even tame jam sessions. As well as bass, I find that it has a very nice clean tone with my Tele, especially for slide. It has now taken up residence in my living room to play all of my instruments through.
Very loud amp!
Incredible amp, it is very loud for 25watts and the lows sound amazing, you can feel them in your bones!
Very good quality amp.
affordable and decent
The price is great and the sound is great for a small and budget bass amp. The amp looks great, like a true fender, but up close you can see its cheaply built. Overall im really pleased with this amp, i use it to record at home and its great.
Beast!
Beast, beast, beast! Yes it's 25watts, but man is this guy loud, AND it doubles as a guitar amp with a lovely bottom end on cleaner tones or transparent ODs like Xotic EP and RC. i actually couldn't believe it when i plugged in my Hagstrom jazz box with a Lollar pup and my SG with vintage BKPs! And the bass rocks too, fat bottom end but with enough brightness to give you some tasty tones.
So, it's true after all, bass amps offer the best of both worlds, well this one does anyway!
Thoroughly recommended!
As good as you could hope for
Given the reasonable price, this amp is fantastic.
Big sound, flexible eq and tone shaping.
It's not built like a tank so be careful with it BUT that does mean it's quite light.
Overall I absolutely recommend this amp in this budget range.
Fantastic
I'm so delighted with this bass amp. You really can't go wrong with this one. Super happy with the tone and volume.
Great Value
I was contemplating buying the Rumble 40 but decided after research that the 25 would be better for home use, and I was right. Great amp, very strong volume and lightweight for its size. Bass does be thumping on it. Very nice amp, best I've owned.
It is not the cheapest (25w) bass amp in the ballpark
Good build quality, very nice sounding, it is a bit confusing (and unfriendly) to use the overdrive but overall this amplifier can suit a room jam and even up to a small practice room with a full band (if not played loud).
Cons: in order to use the overdrive at a heavier setting, the normal (clean) settings must be changed always, which can be bothersome for some players.
A powerfull amplifier
A very good amplifier with a solid EQ possibilities. However, it might be too "powerful" for just practicing at home. I would recommend the Fender Rumble 15 for people who do not need the increased power of the Fender Rumble 25.
Great quality for its cost! The service was super fast!!
Great for practicing
Great amp but feels a little lost in the rumble amp range, because it still has the very small 8 inch speaker that is not very suitible for anything outside of practicing. If you're just looking for a practice amp I suggest going for the 15 watt version, which should be more than loud enough for that purpose. however if your are looking to do some gigging (even small stuff) I suggest upgrading to the 40 or above a they have larger speakers, which will help the bass do its job properly and sit in a band nicely.
Great for the price
I'm playing a HB jazz bass into it and it sounds like every other bass tone I've ever heard
Sometimes I plug the strat into it for a change and that also sounds pretty good on the clean channel
The distortion is a bit wimpy and it's just a binary on/off situation but that's okay because it's for my bass, I don't need to distort, and you shouldn't either
The perfect practice amp for the money
The difference between the Rumble 15 and 25 is noticeable. I was shocked on how loud this amp gets and how rich the lows are. I use it to practice at home, it is more than enough. It is compact and very light to use. The EQ is accurate and the UI has a headphone jack for silent playing at night and an aux input for a drum machine or loops. I would recommend this amp to anyone looking for a practice amp.
Simple and sounds great
I also use this amp with my 6 string archtop. Has a great sound for jazz.
Favourite amp, Great for beginners
The fender rumble 25 is my favourite amp, hands down. the variety of sounds you can get out of this amp is amazing! The aux plug in allows you to plug in your phone and play along to your favourite songs. Great for a beginner, Great for practice, not too big, not too small, just perfect!!!
Great work from Fender!
I wanted an amp for home use and rehearsals and this solved all of my problems. First of all what a great sound form this little amp. At first, I was hesitant to buy this beacuse of the speaker size and I was thinking about going the bigger version, since I would be using it for rehearsals(light drums, guitar, vocals). I have to say it can pull off great bass tones and has enough volume even for rehearsal. Also, great tonal variety with the eq settings and the contour button and the overdrive channel can rock, although I do not use it very often since we play blues, rnb, soul. Thumps up to Fender for this amazing amp!
Very good amp! It just goes well with my bass.
