Bold, in your face and nasty. I love it.

Green/gold combination looks gorgeous in real life.

105 gauge strings in combination with the pick ups sounds BIG and punches through thick rock tones in my band with no problem. I had Seymour Duncan SPB-1 pickups in my previous bass, these sound very similar, but with a slightly different "tint".

The thicker and slightly wider neck feels really good to my hands, compared to thinner jazz neck. Although I cannot zoom around as I could with jazz bass, however, I can play for almost twice as long before my hand needs a break, so that is a really good deal for me. This comes down to personal preference.

Came set up perfectly out of the box.

Old school truss rod adjustment at the base of the neck could seem very disheartening, especially if you are not used to making those kind of adjustments and haven't yet developed a "feel" for how much needs to be adjusted. Having gone through it couple of times now, I can say that it is no big deal for me personally, but I can easily see why this could be a deal breaker to someone else. Take this into consideration.

The bag included is absolute garbage.
