What’s not to like

Great bit of kit , easy to set up and use and sound quality is top notch.

Superb!

Although. Haven’t used it for a while, due to wing away with work, it is such a great unit and feels so much better than the other brand which I had before. Thoroughly recommend this piece of kit!

Quality is superb

I didn't expect it to record electric guitar so well!

Massive issues with sound

This device has an annoying issues with sound. Permanent cracks, clicks and other noises while playing guitar if you have some other source of sound such as backing track. And it has problems not only with using its mic and guitar interfaces but with just common use cases such as watching Youtube and playing games. After a short period of time the sound starts to double itself and lag behind the video. If I switch to another audio interface that problem disappears but after switching back to Scarlett it pops up again. I've tried all sample rate and buffer size combinations, reinstall audio drivers and other advices from the Internet but there is no difference, the problem remains the same.

I had a Scarlett solo 2nd gen and it had the similar issue with cracks but that problem was solved just by plugging it in the USB 3.0 interface. But guess what? This new 3rd gen does not support USB 3.0. It is not recognized by the Windows 10 if it plugged in USB 3.0.

Fantastic USB audio interface, solidly built with excellent features for the price and great suite of software. Very good customer support too.

Great for home stuido users

I've been using scarler for few years now. I have solo and 2i2. I bought 2i2 because od the seperate volume knob for headphones. For home recording demos, vocals and instruments it does great work. We also recorded in the studio with this and the vocals are very clean. Im not on a proffesional level myself, so this do the job. I would reccomend it to anyone who is starting.

Great interface for your money. Build quality is very good

For home use, this is a very good solution in this price category. Also suitable for travel and field work. High build quality, good design, relatively good stability.

Fuller Sound

Moving from PC soundcard to the 2i2 gave much more fuller sound and having the dials openly accessible allows for fast changing in volumes. Headphone output is great and delivers high volume with no distortion. Volume knob is rarely turned up more than quater. Great soundcard

Just plug and play on every OS

I daily drive macOS, Linux, and Windows (yeah I am a schizo) and this thing works awesome everywhere!

I pair it with Rode NT1A and AKG K701, it drives both of them easily, the mic on 50% gain and headphones on ~70%, so I have a lot of headroom for an upgrade.

Compared the sound to an old EMU0404 and it sounds just way better, much clear sound and, I would say, brighter and wider.

The key feature of this device, it just works, even without any drivers on ANY OS! Also no power cable is a plus (power via usb-c)

Fantastic quality, with functional but imperfect software

The Scarlett 2i2 is built to be indestructible, and provides a great feature set. Audio quality is fantastic, though it could for some microphones provide a bit too little gain.

My only issue has been some software confusion, but this is likely because I am an audio gear beginner. Still, it is somewhat unclear how the two channels are used with my DAW.

Small, portable and really handy for on the go recording

The Perfect Upgrade

Was using a Focusrite Scarlet Solo Gen 1 to this 2i2 Gen 3 and its much much better. should have bought this in the first place.

Awesome budget audio interface

Well it works out of the box very great! simple settings to change with driver installing and your good to go!

I use it with FL Studio to record my guitar playing and it sound fantatic with eleteric guitar!

Only 1 thing i wish it could be a bit bit better to work with low volume when i record with it.

But in this price i'ts awesome!

worthy product

the card works without problems, compact and functional. definitely worth the money.

Needs work at setup, but everything else is ok

I am newbie here so take my review with a bit of doubt.

At first it was a bit hard to collect every plugin for daw. A lot of (free) licenses with additional new account. There is no one download url and installation for whole package.

Some USB ports can't see card or loosing connection. Mostly some special usb with added functionality ( mostly marked as non standard colors which can be different depends on motherboard manufacturer). It took a while reinstalling drivers, searching for problems and searching for working one, but when it's was found - no more problems.

So in the end when setup is done - no complains.

I really love this interface and I'm quite glad that I got it! The Focusrite works perfectly and is really easy to use. So I recommend for Instrument Players and Singers.

Ranked N#1 in audio interfaces. That says it all. A must have.

Solid Audio Interface

For the price it's definitely worth it, as it comes with almost €1000 euro worth of software/plugins bundled with it.

Being a 2 channel interface you are of course limited on how many things you can have connected to it, but honestly I still think it's worth it.

I think I may have gotten a faulty product as the "Monitor" volume knob doesn't seem to actually do anything, but maybe thats just me I don't know.

Either way it's a good product.
