One of the best soundcard for the money

Best cost/quality ratio, works nicely supports 2 channels.

Budget Interface

Works great right out of the box. Compared to my. previous behringer UMC204HD it works better. There's no audible white noise coming from the interface in the DAW

Great sound

An easy-to-use card - plug it in and use it, and the quality is quite satisfactory. When registering, an additional set of plug-ins from well-known manufacturers is offered. In principle, there are already quite a few, but new ones will not hurt. I decided not to use the air function, because. already in post-production, you can adjust the frequencies, compression, add "distortions", etc. It's great that now for a very modest price

Great quality Audio Interface

I chose this over the Scarlett solo as there is a separate volume control for the headphones which is great. I also like the lights around the gain knobs which tell you if the sound is at a good level or not. Really happy with this purchase. :)

Easy to Use

I used this interface for a year in combination with a laptop, it always worked, I can't remember having any issues with it. Works nicely for a mobile setup.

Excellent little AI from a top brand. Great buy!

I'm just getting started with home recording, so didn't want to spend a fortune. I'm no expert, but I researched the hell out of various AI options before settling on this one. It definitely gets the highest approval. It's compact, sturdy, super easy to use and plugs in and plays (you don't need to download extra software to make it work). Vocal frequency enhancement button on the one input is a sweet bonus.

Great Budget Interface

I bought this after much research as my first audio interface, and it works great! However after accidentally dropping it off of my desk, the connection at the back became a bit dodgy. I've seen other people mention that this happens quite often, but its nothing a couple rubber bands couldn't fix in my case, so it shouldn't be any cause for concern.

If you don't drop it, it won't break! I highly recommend!

Great product

Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 3rd Gen is a wonderful device that I use for my projects. It is convenient,effective and good equipment to work. I highly reccomend this product for your creative goals.

Simple and works as expected (used on Linux and OpenBSD)

I use the Scarlett on all my machines, both Linux and OpenBSD, with different microphones, mostly audio-technica AT2020.

While recording, the sound is very low, for some reason. I have to put the control knob to the max to hear something. But that's kinda fine, I can easily make it louder with the software I use to record (ffmpeg) and the sound is fine.

For the features, it seems that other brands (such as Beringher) are doing better for the price. Actually, the former version of Scarlett did include more outputs. So that's definitively something to notice for this price.

Still, I use this tool almost every day for more than a year now, and it is working great. I own several Scarlett, including older models, they all work perfectly.

Of course, being on Linux and OpenBSD, I do not use the provided software. Not that I would actually care, but since I didn't test it, I can't comment on it.

Works better than expected.

It is very easy to setup and use, really intuitive. It sounds better than I expected, for the price range.

I do recomend it for beginners on a budget.

Great for streaming - With the right mic!

I use this with my Rode NT1-A and it's great for discord, streaming and podcasting.

Plug and play!

As the title explains, it's very simple and easy to set up and use, and comes with free recording software for those just starting!

best choice

If you know what you need and you are used to the Focusrite, then it is a good product for you. It handles everything perfectly, works as described.

My first interface and it is phenomenal at that price. Dont forget to get a free plugin when activating the product on focusrites website!

Outstanding value

I finally retired my 20-yr-old RME Multiface as it's impossible to find a decently-priced PCIe card foir it. And so, having no need for 8ins/outs anymore, I decided to try the new Focusrite III series 2i2.

Well, I'm simply astonished. The sound quality is so clean and detailed. Dare I say it - better than the RME. Add all the features, controls, build quality and free software and this must be the best value interface on the market.

Best Quality for the Price

For a home studio, in case you need a compact and portable solution, when looking for quality without spending a high budget, this is definitely the best option in the ratio quality VS price. An incredible piece of art offering you everything you need to produce, record and listen to your vinyls. Highly recommended.

Just real good

A great little package which delivers some solid recordings. Phantom power is real handy. Only drawback is inability to adjust direct monitor volume indipendently. I was positively surprised by the construction quality.
