Furman M-10x E Reviews
Does the thing
My gear is safe with this!
Does what Advertized
This is the "I don't need it" until something happens kind of gear.
There's not much to say, it does its job well.
excellent power conditioner, havent had any problems since i bought mine
Good price for best quality.
Easy to use, quick mount. I did not need a light so this model was best in this price. Tube amplifier and guitar pedalboard works better and there is no hum.
Perfect power conditioner for those on a budget
Fantastic unit for the price, a must for any home studio or rig. All pro, no cons!
Good
Well packed and in good condition.
Seems okay, not sure I've noticed any difference
To be honest, I got this because I needed a 1U rack power distributer with IEC outputs on the back and a power switch on the front and this was only slightly more expensive than a unit that wasn't also a power conditioner. I have my ad/da converter, my mixer, and my monitors plugged into this. I don't really hear any difference in the sound/noise floor, but I hadn't had any particular problems with electrical noise or interference in the first place to be fair. It really did help me tidy up the power cables in my rack though.
Will save you a potential hazard
Does exactly as advertised and helps avoid surges with the balacned power output
Furmanly brilliant
Great product, works as described and the price is unbeatable. Using it for studio purposes, does all I wanted it to do. 10 sockets at the back is great for a 1U unit and the extra one at the front is so convient. Make sure to get an IEC - EU adapter cable for that front one and you'll be super happy!
Plug and forget it even exist!
Typical Furman, install them on your rack, plug all the system there, get your secure feeling without even remember the Furman was there. It is always work like a charm!
It´s necessary in your home studio
It´s quite robust and for me a very good alternative to generate security in your equipment, has enough inputs to feed a home studio and maintains the correct voltage without problems.
It´s also true that it says it eliminates noise, this is not entirely true, if it reduces it, but it does not eliminate it.
value for money
haven't faced any issues up until now.
working perfectly since there was a power break and all my gear is still working :)
Exactly what I needed
All the interference's are gone, I should have bought this before!
Simplicity & security
For the longest time I've used a regular old extension plug and just jammed everything into that, however with my music career growing & having the ability to afford more gear, I decided to get ahead of the curve and invest in a power conditioner. The last thing i'd want is to lose gear to a cheap extender.
It connects to my Neumann kh310's, Kemper, PC & Monitor & honestly i feel so much safer & encouraged to work in my environment now.
Its feature set is limited but then again, it's a simple tool that does a simple job so im not complaining.
Overall, i give this my recommendation.
The best of conditioner
Very good quality and working
Great way to clean up home studios, highly recommended.
This power conditioner rackmount is perfect for setting up a rack with multiple modules and other sound devices and cleaning up the cable management mess that would usually come with these kinds of setups.
I use this for connecting my sound modules and even my PC and speakers in order to make sure there's good protection against electrical surges and to protect these modules from having electrical noise in their audio signal.
There's a certain convenience in having one switch on the front to turn everything on and off so you don't have to worry too much about turning off a power strip somewhere all the way below your desk.
This rackmount unit is actually not too heavy and screws into most racks easily, though it doesn't come with screws included.
If you've got more than ten devices you need to connect to a secure power network, maybe there are other options from Furman.
I'm sure more than one of these units could still work well, I just have no personal experience with that.
Overall, this is a very good deal for the price if you're just starting out as a home musician or just want to secure your devices from sudden power surges.
One small warning: depending on the type of device you wish to connect, finding the correct power cable to fit with it in stock MAY be difficult. Far from impossible, it may just be a bit of a frustrating search initially.
Furman as always
I use M-10x E in a recording studio. It supplies power for preamps and converters. We're super happy with it. I also use a higher version of Furman in my home studio. I can't tell the difference between them. Just consider if you need lambs or voltage meter on front side. Great products!
Nice Product
I've bought it for my homestudio. I had some noise problems because I'm in a flat and after I've connected the entire studio (Midas Mixer, compressor, eqs, soundcards, speakers, 2 Pcs... lots of stuff) to it, the noise problems are finally gone! The sockets in the rear seem a bit flimsy but the overall product seems very nice. Would recommend to buy it for sure! great for the price
Great conditioner
I use this to protect my hardware gear and it works flawless as expected. Excellent price and saves a ton of insurance costs for unprotected equipment. A must for your setup.
Good power suply
This is a basic and classic supply and conditioner unit for your rack equipment. This is for those who do not want to repair their equipment due to power surges. I use for guitar rack equipment: preamp + poweramp + processor. Works flawlessly, I do not hear any noise of the mains
