Furman M-10x E Reviews
good low end choice for guitarists, or studio beginners...better this than nothing. But will not prevent all spikes, like light switches can be heard in speakers or from other house equipment ...I heard some here and there...but I also heard some spikes when I used old furman plus CE. If you have bad electricity you nedd to look for something better than just power conditioner. You need something that stabilaze electric to 230 and with filtels... online UPS or Furman P-1400 AR E ...or some guys will said that this still not solve the problem and that you need almost spaceshuttle to get pure electric and as best clean sound as you can. But that can be over 10000⬠budget for professional studio.
Simple, reliable unit
Reliable and well built as can be expected from Furman. Delivers nice clean power. Would have loved a separate on/off switch for the outlet on the front of the unit, but thats wishful thinking.
Easy to use, rack mountable. You need C13 to C14 connector thats it.
Before you buy this, study what it actually is (a glorified power switch)
Study the inside of this device, and compare it to more expensive models. The packaging and marketing for this model seems to more than what is actually inside the device.
Everything you would expect: great
Unit does everything I need to manage power supply needs for home studio No noise and easy to use and reliable Solid construction and a great addition to home studio rack
Perfect Power Conditionner
Very reliable and robust, was able to protect my gears against random surges and electricity cut.
Have all my stuff connected to it and it works as expected. Would be nice if the front outlet would be a more standard socket and/or additionally have an USB port.
For that price tag, truely do what it should and very happy with the purchase.
Works as advertised
Cleans up noise as much as possible.
True power!
After purchasing the Furman M-10x E I instantly notice less noise in the recordings and also felt more comfortable having all my equipment power lines passing thru it. Very happy with this purchase.
Very good for the money
For the price, it's definitely worth getting, especially if you're thinking of getting some outboard gear. The only thing it lacks is a staggered power-on system, so I can't power my speakers with it without getting clicks and pops whenever I power on or off (bad vibes). But for the price I can understand why it's not there. Other than that its super reliable and rugged, gets the job done no problem.
works
does that it needs to do
Works fine!
Works fine! I totally recommend it.
satisfied
a decent buy to protect your gear
Great power conditioner
Used to have a PL-Plus I bought in 1997, sold it when i sold my studio gear, but needed a new one recently, and this is a beauty. Good gear
Great
One of my favorite things in my rack. Ok I don't have much yet, but I find it very reassuring to have all my machines connected to this unit.
Good thing to have
So good for the price
Just simple easy to use power conditioner
Nice power conditioner, does not generate lots of heat. After i bought it all hum issues with guitar amp had disappeared.
Great affordable unit
Love this unit, it looks well and means I don't have to reach around behind my studio desk to turn on the monitors, just leave the switches on my monitors and interface and have one master switch for everything. (Make sure your gear has a protection circuit when turning on and off before trying this, mine doesn't send any pops to the speakers but yours might not be the same!). Doesn't include power cables for gear so make sure to get your own for that.
Good
Good but I still have noise, must be the computer motherboard or something
Great !
Perfect for my outboard equipment
Its knowing that the equipment is "safe" that counts!
Does what it says on the tin, sorta
I bought this as a glorified power strip for my rack. I considered the power filtering a nice to have. I can't tell if its the filters fault or not but I do still get some electrical interference on my speakers sometimes, especially when connecting equipment to my PC (which for obvious reasons is connected to power outside the filter)
Its built like a tank and the switch and sockets feel like they would last a rough tour schedule. The power socket on the front is a nice touch, however front panel lighting would have been nice to see at this price point.
