This subwoofer seems very solidly built, works and sounds well. I am using this sub to extend the bass response of a pair of 8330 monitors, which I am using as a home stereo system in 25 sq. m room. This not only relieved the monitors of having to produce bass frequencies, which probably resulted in clearer sound with decreased distortion, but it also enabled to solve the bass problem in my room. With the fixed position of the monitors and listening position, you can move the subwoofer around the room as much as the cables allow and find optimal position for it. The calibration is an extremelly usefull tool, expecially in the bass region, where the room response can extremelly boost some frequencies. As a result of being able to move the sub to the optimal position and calibration now I...

I use this subwoofer as the companion to the Yamaha HS8 monitors, preferring keeping things brand matched (designed for). Excellent build and quality with lots of features that tightly integrate with the Yamaha HS monitor range. It transforms the overall range of your sound. As cliche as it sounds, a new dimension is what it does. At first I had it placed in the usual floor position somewhere central to the monitors. It sounded great but maybe a bit too much sub for this placement in my room. However, once I raised it off the floor on a custom cabinet it sounded cleaner with more articulation etc etc, a game changer. I always chuckle to myself when I read reviews stating these are not required unless you compose EDM or bass heavy music. I regard this as a complete misnomer. If you want to...

I really thought that this sub will blow out my room, cause i never had a sub woofer and my mixing room is medium size, but it worked out. Now i can feel the sub in my room, which is perfect for mixing low end, i just realize how bad i was mixing the low end, or how i wasnt using the whole spectrum. Im very exting to heat my new productions using this sub, its a 6 inch so its very useful for medium size rooms, now i can mix propertly!. I reccomend using this with the genelec near field monitors.

Neumann KH 750 DSP

I don't know where to start seriously, I am beyond happy. I have recently bought the KH80 from Neumann and I started to realize how precised everything was coming out, from reverb tails to transient responses, etc...so I've bought the MA 1 mic and decided to give it a try with the DSP mode. Needless to say I was already speechless, the linearity was yes...linear, but without any side effects from other softwares like Sonarworks for instance. I then decided to go full beast and buy their DSP sub and....OMG!...I have just finished calibrating the kh 80 with the kh 750 and I am MINDBLOWED. Believe me, I went to so many studios and I know how a reference system should sound and this one guys and girls...it's the ultimate weapon. So precise, so tight, super deep and whatever you wanna add....

it literally rattles the house around my poor wife's head. it makes everything vibrate with glorious bass goodness. it even gets that massive low end rumble when Sauron explodes at the start of the Fellowship. i turned the bass up on Yourtube using a chrome extension and my father-in-law prolapsed downstairs. i almost snapped my own elastic listening to a few songs its just awesome for the money. buy this and a couple of bottles of hot sauce. a few chili con carne's afterwards and your life will never be the same again. presonus awesomeness

Bought for use with Eve Audio SC203 monitoring system. Despite overwhelmingly positive reviews i remained sceptical it would please me as a bottom end for casual listening and monitoring sound. Pleased to say this is a tremendous value for money unit - £130 vs £460 for the Eve TS107. While i don't have direct comparison to more expensive studio grade subs as a casual listener/producer it is more than enough. Has a clean, punchy bass response which perfectly suits smaller monitoring systems such as Eve SC203. Without it I was missing a lot of low end, SC203 has surprising bass but little impact. Upon firing up the SUBmini sound immediately became much fuller. In my situation it sounds best with phase inverted (brings a warmer, bassier response) and volume around half way,...

Hard to find a subwoofer sounding so stable in a medium professional setting, I am producing for a while now on these in combination with the Yamaha HS8, it really gives the needed separation in your studio and also achieves a direct live feel in public setting for an outdoor or indoor event where you can t get to hard. The sound is vunarable and smooth to listen too, testing these now in combination with the Kali IN5, as well the IN8, still need to focus a bit, but seems very promising too, I would recommend to try them out 😉

This is an amazing sub. It's mind-boggling how something of this size can reach so low and do it with such speed and authority. I've owned 12", 15", even 17" that cannot reach this low. Sure, a 15+ will move more air an, but for a studio? You won't need more power than this - and the speed and precision it has can hardly be matched. It compares favorably with a 15" Servo motor sub (Rythmik). The integrated DSP is the cherry on top. I use an external DIRAC processor (and thus leave all processing disabled) but the advantage of being able to integrate it the proper way without additional equipment is very welcome (yes, it's precofigured to make it easier with dynaudio monitors, but you can configure it crossover precisely by hand). For whatever reason very few...

Prodipe Pro 10s V3 Active Subwoofer

The sub does not provide the deepest of bass depths, but it's precise. It's not rumbling or adding any unwanted overtones/sounds. I've placed the sub in most efficent place in 45sq meter room and it delivers good enough bass throughout all the room and it still has enoguh "headroom" left over (it's not maxed out). In comparison with much lover Fostex 6" sub (delivers from ~20hz), this baby has more power thanks to it's 10" speaker. It can produce subtle and heartwarming bass in low volumes and it can give a good old punch when it's cranked up. The very good thing about it is that it's not "falling appart" (soundwise) and it's not producing unwanted noises (both in low and high volumes). In comparison with Klipsch 12 inch-er (forgot the exact model,...
