Pink Floyd worthy

I purchased the Classic Flanger for my do-it-all pedal board build and it has performed exactly as I envisioned. It is much more versatile than the flanger setting on my modeling amp. David Gilmour would be proud.

its just awesome!

generally it is a great pedal, but sometimes - not always, on higher notes the frequencies sound a bit weird

cheap flanger

i mostly use it for those space swoops with regen maxed out, things are gonna get wild with those settings but if thats your thing, 30e is not a bad price to do some serious space rocking

Great for Bass Players too!

I took a chance and bought this pedal to try it for playing bass as none of the reviews mentioned if it was any good for this. I am happy to say that it works great. It looks great and everything about it feels rock solid and well built. The signal loses a very small amount of bottom end frequency but is easily compensated for with a tiny EQ adjustment. Although very reasonable, it probably doesn't have an extreme range of flanging adjustments compared to more expensive models but for my purposes it's perfect and for 30 euros there is no room for complaint whatsoever. Another couple of good points is that I can notice no drop or lift in the overall signal volume and the pedal added absolutely no extra background noise in the chain. I have also found it to work particularly well with my (bass) overdrive pedal.

So long as you are not looking for wild outlandish insane flanging, then the sounds this pedal can deliver should put a smile on your face. This one has definitely found a permanent place on my board. 100% recommended!

What I imagined and some more

Besides the fact that it looks amazing, easy to use and great sound, this was my first choice as Flanger and I didn't go wrong. Great quality for the price

nice flanger

oscillates nice if turned all the way up.

Bit like a thight mix of chorus with phaser on steroids.

Widen the sound with your reverb/delay pedals

Well build. good for cleans and distortion. funk till all rock. fun for bass also. big pedal.

It needs a clean strong power source.

Really fun to play, gives a nice extra touch on the guitar sound for very little money.

Just great!

For a flanger in this price range it is just great!

had been looking for a nice flanger for quite some time. Since I didnt want to spend a whole lot on it this was definately a solid choice.

It features just the controlls you would expect of a flanger. Regeneration, rate, with and delay! Great to fool around with

It can take you from subtle lushness to full on takeoff in the twist of a knob. The versatility really impressed me! This unit has been on my pedalboard for quite some time now. Still not taking it off of there.

Great and versatile pedal!!

I've been very happy with this pedal, definitely recommend this!

It's the only flanger I've had, so I can't really compare, though.

It is great quality especially considering the price, I've nothing to complain about.

I love the look of this pedal as well!!

Classic Flanger

Great peddle for the price tone good case is built well and should last plenty of range to make it sound like any other Flanger out there on the market don't be fooled by the price

Great Pedal

This is my favourite Harley Benton pedal that I own, I use it with drum machines and synthesizers and love the sounds it gives. It allows for some extreme manipulation of the audio passed through it. Build quality feels good and the knobs are decent, not too loose or stiff allowing for precise settings easily.

Versatile and an Absolute Bargain

It's the typical Joyo/HB casing, sturdy and with a cool graphic, LED present and a huge and versatile range, for adding texture or on higher settings great experimenting with sounds. Does not suck much tone either

great flanger

resembles the flanger boss, excellent construction, true bypass, 30 euro ... you can not ask for more, he plays divinely, I recommend it

cant complain

Im sure there's better flangers out there but I can't find anything to complain about with this and it cost almost nothing. Feels solid , true bypass, sounds decent.

Bargain Flanger

Bought this a few months ago found it reliable and true bypass a great plus and as Flangers go it does it well, there are better ones but definetly useable and great value. Also it has the ability to sound like other modulating effects like phaser and chorus when you give time to experiment with the controls.

noiseless classic

I couldn't find out which pedal this flanger is trying to simulate but it sounds gooooood. Even though it is a relabled very cheap pedal (Joyo) "it has some realy good tones in it" as the famous guitar players (endorsers) would say.

Subtle on clean tones and not as flexible as other flangers but compared to classic flangers like the MXR 117 it is noiseless!

One lesson I learned in the last years is that cheap doesn't mean bad sounding.

This pedal is rock solid. The footswitch is actualy a true-bypass switch and not just a small and easy to destroy button soldered to the pcb like they use in Boss style pedals. Solid construction and a good sound - what do you need more?

If you want an easy to use subtle flanger get this one. If you want more flexibility (more extreme settings) get the "old" HB FL100 which is also a relabled cheap flanger. If you want even more flexibility and spend a little bit more money (but stay in the low price region) get the Mooer ElecLady which is a very good "copy" of a EHX Mistress.

+ solid

+ cheap

+ good sound

+ noiseless

- the art on the enclosure.... :-)

PS: There is no information about the trim pots inside the box and I did not tinker around with them... maybe I should.

Perfect and versatile!

The Classic Flanger is great value for money. Depending on the settings you choose, it can function not just as a flanger, but also as a chorus and a phaser. Those are very good options.

The pedal is of a sturdy metal construction, which is excellent even for those who are only playing at home. No risk of breaking the thing when stepping on the switch which would probably happen if it was all plastic.

As for the sound...

It's very analog (in a good way; can't say if the circuit has any digital components).

Want a subtle chorus? A rotating speaker? An out of control phaser? An Eddie Van Halen flanger? It's all here, just move the controls around. The Classic Flanger sounds great together with either a fuzz, distortion or overdrive. Or even on its own. Combine it with a phaser and a chorus and you'll get some totally weird and wonderful sounds.

Buy one. Now. Or better, buy two.
