Not as good as my CLD-41

I was really impressed by my HB CLD-41 in every way, I decided to purchase a CLD-28SCE. Sadly this one has been a let-down right out of the box. The Nut fell off, the action was too high no matter how much I adjusted the truss rod. The saddle must not be cut right. The sound of the guitar is just as excellent as the CLD-41, but the playablity and comfort is just not there. I must have gotten one of the duds. I'm sure a trainded luthier could fix this.
