Get's the job done

Not the best guitar in the world, however, it get's the job done cheaply. Set it up and you have an easy to play guitar with good acoustic sound (it's really rare to find a good sounding pickup system on acoustic guitars). I've recorded with this guitar and in the middle of a mix, it sounds like a perfectly acceptable acoustic guitar.

Great for those on a budget

I've had this guitar for awhile now and I've really enjoyed my time with it.

It's a very lightweight guitar, however this leaves it prone to neck diving when standing up.

A bit of technical work was needed on my end but was expected and wasn't anything I couldn't do at home.

I plan on using it for many more years.

Great quality for the price, but the pickup leaves much to be desired.

The D-120CE NT has shown itself to be a great entry-level guitar!

The body is of high quality, the strings sound decent and the resonance of the guitar is wonderful. Nothing to complain about there!

Now, the pickup on the other hand, is poor in quality.

The sound is quite muddy and accompanied by a broad-spectrum white noise, which the presence boost on the built in EQ of the pickup amplifies significantly.

The build quality of the pickup is good, though.

So there's that I guess.

All-in-all: A great guitar for people who are just starting out, but I'd recommend that you replace the pickup if you're hoping to record anything with it.

Great guitar for the price

This guitar have really good and rich sound. When I got it the setup was ok, it was ready to play. Only thing that is not so good are tuning machines-it's a bit hard to put guitar in tune precisely. Everything else is great.

Amazing bang for the buck

Good quality and craftmanship.

Really good sound both accustic and electric.

The set up is fine, easy to play with intonation spot on.

Chineese luthiers are getting good. Should scare US and European manufactorers with guitars in a whole other pricerange!

Cons: Not the best tuners I have encountered, but the guitar stays in tune.

Rather impressed

Not sure what I was going to get from this but took a punt anyway. Not much money if it was going to turn out to be rubbish. When it turned up it was well packaged and there was no damage. The guitar itself was almost in tune from the box and it plays quite nicely. It's my first acoustic (electric player for 19 years) so don't have a reference point for the sound quality, but I think it sounds great and the action and neck relief was excellent. The intonation was also perfect.

If you were a beginner it would not really need much doing to it to get learning some chords. As I'm going to be doing some lead work and bending strings it could do with a fret polish and fretboard oil but these are minor points really. I'd expect to have to setup a cheaper guitar anyway. Strings are a bit junky, but what do you expect for no-name factory ones. When I strip it down I'll be putting some better ones on.

Tried out the electric interface and all works as expected. Not sure on the sound quality as I find all electro acoustic (on recordings) to be a bit "plastic" sounding. Sounds like the aforementioned others I've heard so can't complain. Also came with the battery for the pre-amp!

Overall very happy indeed.

A good proud , excellent value for money

I have had this guitar for roughly 2 years now , and i have to say i still play it all the time and have no urge to upgrade any time soon.

When played acoustic the guitar sounds great and is very comfortable to play

When played through an amp the guitar sounds a bit weak and tinny , but i didn't expect much more from this guitar so i don't mind , It is important to note that it still plays good plugged in , but that this is the only major con in the product

My only complaint in terms of build quality is that the nut that holds the input jack unscrews itself every few months and falls off , this has happened 4 times since i got the guitar and it is rather annoying

all in all i still think that this was a good buy and i have no regrets
