IN AWE!

Still wondering how HB can manufacture such quality instruments at such low prices!

I own 2 now:

The DC-600 VI Vintage Series SG and the SC-450 P90 GT Classic Series Goldtop LP....ZERO COMPLAINTS! Looks great, feels great, sounds great, plays great!...HOW ARE YOU DOING THIS?!?! I've owned FAR more expensive guitars that had at least intonation or tuning issues. Not these!

I've owned Gibson's, Epiphones, ESP's, Fenders, you name it...Harley Benton guitars are easily comparable to ALL of them!

In fact, I'd take my HB LP over my REAL Les Paul without a second thought!

I'm about to buy 3 more for myself and my son for Christmas!

IT SHREDS!!

There are a few things that I love about this guitar. The knob configuration is entirely unique with the 3 Vols and 1 Tone. You can't find that configuration in any price point from any other brand (that I have seen). The fretboard material leaves a bit to be desired. I can't tell if it is even wood but time will reveal that. Tuners have been replaced but that was to be expected. I also LOVE the placement of the output jack. It's the only guitar with this body style that has placed the jack on the side and that is amazing. I am very happy with this purchase. I play this guitar every day and I love it.

A lot for a little

This guitar came out of the box in very good shape. It plays well, sounds quite good, looks great, and is very comfortable to play. Fantastic value. It would be a great guitar to take on the road.

Great!

Fantastic guitar! baseball bat for a neck but damn, it is a great looking axe! Plays great, pickups are what you would expect for a guitar in this price range.

key doesnt work

After waiting for 1 month, as soon as I pick up the guitar, the rythm and the treble key suddenly remained in my hand and the lower magnetic volume key did not work, it really upset me I waited so long, the result is disastrous.

Good quality but neck felt too thick

Maybe I'm more critical because I have wanted SG for a long time and accidentally tried 2000€ Gibson new model while I had this Harley Benton DC-600 in home. I have one Harley Benton TE-30 and kept it. Pros: Overall quality for this price range is good. Coloured and finished nicely. It maybe looks abit more yellow than you see in pictures. It's made from real wood and you can't get any mahogany guitar in that price range for sure. Feels maybe little heavy compared to Gibson but this is around 10x more expensive. Pick ups sounds ok, noting special but fine.

Cons: Main cons was neck thickness for me. Nobody really talks about it but if you expect really thin neck from this its a little thicker because its c-shape. I realised I want thin D-shape. Also tuners felt abit loose, specially mine on 6th string.

I decided not keep it and save the money for real SG:)

A Must Have SG!

I love everything about this guitar! I didn't know quite what to expect ,when I ordered it, but I was blown away when I received it. What a beautiful guitar. I can't put it down. I thought I would at least have to switch out the pickups ,but The 3 Roswell pick ups sound great. Incredible price! Super fast shipping.

Nice guitar for the cash!

Sounds really good...no...great!

A minimum set up was required that took 15 min and a small neck tweak the next day. Locked in and stable in it's new environment.

Did I mention how great it sounds???

Plan on changing the strings, the ones on it were generic and a bit rough.

PS: IT SOUNDS GREAT!

Near Perfect !

I am here, scratching my head, trying to figure out why this guitar is at this price point. My only issue is the stiffness of some of the tuning keys. The neck is perhaps one of the best I've ever felt...rounded and fits perfectly in my hands. This is an Epiphone killer.

I just don't know how it passed inspection without a nut On the tip of the quarter " jack Couldn't plug it in until I took another nut off 1 of my it in until I took another nut off 1 of my other guitars The screw is there but the nut wasn't Other than that everything is great the guitar Awesome And you pc And UPS in America Didn't smashed my box So when I complain to Cerritos California USA truck driver They got the hintin😎😆🤗

Great guitar period

This is a great guitar regardless of the price. It arrived and was flawless right out of the box as far as looks, scratches, dings, etc. I did take it to my guy for a setup but I do that for every guitar I purchase. As far as Im concerned it sounds great, the Roswell pickups are nice and warm and play very nicely. The fretboard is in great shape, a little rough on the edges, but nothing a little polishing can't handle. It has become my go-to guitar and I am quite happy with it.

All-around PERFECT guitar...!

I have played through many guitars, but this is by far the best...And i say this having played with a 800$ Les Paul, and a 650$ Ibanez...

1) Exterior Design: Ok this guitar is a copy of a Gibson SG model, costing aroud 5000$, and i have to admit that its look is astonishing...Those golden Roswell pickups along with that vintage ivory body, give awesome vibes...The neck is just a typical C-type, very easy to handle, and the fretboard is as smooth as it needs to be (no sharp fret ends).

2)Sound: Ok, WOW....At the moment, i have a low tier amplifier, but i managed to record some incredible riffs at a really good quality. The E A D strings sound like melted gold, and the guitars offers a bassy sound by its nature, while having 3 H pickups lets you experiment with a plethora sounding options.

3) Delivery: Ok, to be honest i waited a while for this guitar, exactly a month. I ordered it at 5/10 and it was supposed to be here until 26/10, because it was out of stock. That last date was also postponed, and the guitar was on stock at 31/10, when the shipment started. It was delivered just 6 days later, wich was surprisingly early, given that im from greece, with absolutely zero problems.

4)The only con: Ok, everything in this guitar was great, but a slight detail. The stock strings... When it arrived, this guitar had .10 Harley Benton strings. I started playing and my fingers became quickly metal-blackened, and also in the first slight bendind of the e string, the string broke...I had to go to my local guitar shop and change the strings to .9 D'addario. But trust me, IT WAS WORTH IT..!

5) OVERAL: This guitar is an underated gem. I can't help not seeing it in the top 100 sales rank. To be honest, i had put my eyes on it, since it started being on the catalogue (2015). If you are looking for a 1st guitar, or if you want to expand your collection, or even if you have the most expensive guitar in the world, YOU SHOULD TRY THIS GEM xD....Biggest recommendation in my entire life!

Fantastic Guitar

I love the instrument. It has a great weight and a fantastic build quality.

My only niggle is the pickups which are really muddy sounding so I will probably change them

Amazing guitar for the price!

I ordered this guitar because i wanted an instrument with a vintage look. The guitar arrived in 6 days after i placed the order.

When i opened the box i was surpised to find a guitar with perfect setup and ready to be played.

Pros.

-smooth neck;

-nice pickups;

- beautiful vintage cream finish;

-long sustain;

-good fretwork;

Cons:

The locking tuners will have to be changed and also a new nut will be needed.

All in all this guitar can easily be used both in studio and live situations. It is a great instrument for blues, rock, metal and so on. Harley Benton is a brand that puts its words into action.

great fun

Great guitar. Roswell pickups are very close to originals vintage PAF but in a way different I even might say, i have no such pickups in my collection and are absolute must have. LAF neck is darker sounding, like jazz pickup but also very rich for blues, works excellent with distortion. Neck pickup is also very good. Fretboard is made of Pau Ferro. Its very nice wood, black like Ebony, but it's a soft wood, much softer than rosewood, so Fretboard is not glossy perhaps because Pau ferro is half as hard as jatoba. It's not bad but I am just saying it plays different whatever it means. Tuner are OK but I've installed Gibson G-force tuning system, which i have to change on my Gibson SG. It didn't work with Gibson, but works excellent with Harley's. Now I have realised that that's really amazing system, very handy and very easy to use and very reliable. The raster is not the same, so i had to have fill (glue) the existing holes and make new ones. I also installed split coil switch on tone pot. The middle pickup is alternate with bridge and neck and is for colouring. Its single coil, when others are humbuckers and vice versa. I've also installed out of phase switch, but it's not very useful. You also had to do some fret polish. In general very good guitar, made for customising. very nice build and a lot of fun working on it and than playing. If you are not a fan of customising you have to buy Harley Benton custom

The best quarantine guitar

I am SPEECHLESS after all this time looking for an affordable guitar I came up Harley Benton brand and I couldn't be happier! Ive always wanted an SG model guitar and with the price I paid this guitar is insane! The fretboard is a bit thicker than other guitars but nothing noticeable.

What a guitar!

Wow, for such little money you really get a nice guitar. It is a striking guitar and just looks like rock and roll. I found the fit and finish on my guitar to be excellent. Very very nice... no fret sprout and all the frets were seated nicely. The color is more yellow than white. Overall it is really nice.
