Perfect guitar.

Very cheap. Very good sound. Very good looking. Very comfortable. I think this is one of the best guitar in that price range. Yes, it has some troubles, but not big ones. Don`t think, just buy it!

Fret board was not covered.I think this was a B stock guitar and I paid for a New Guitar.Neck Pickup ring was broken due to over tightening.First fret looks like it has glue on it.3 way switch was lose.String tuner had lose screws. It had bare wires in the electronics cavity. Was not set up at all. After working on it for a couple hours,I did get it to play well and it does sound good.

Excellent tone, multiple switching options.

Surprisingly good quality at this price point. Fit and finish are excellent, frets are even and smooth, only minor tweaking was necessary for set-up right out of the box. There is some kind of grey dust or something on the guitar, so make sure you wipe it down well with a slightly damp cloth and oil the fret board with some 3 in 1 machine oil (or something similar) as the baked fret board is very thirsty upon arrival. The multiple switching combinations on the PUPs is great. But, what really makes this guitar stand out is the TONE, it is simply KILLER!!! It sounds better that the SG Special I owned decades ago. If you're on the fence for this one, get off it! You cannot go wrong with this guitar at this price!!

Great for the price

Maybe I'm not understanding triple humbuckers, I will be re-wiring so each volume pot controls 1 pickup and 1 position on toggle, with middle position being all 3, cant roll volume off and get silence without turning 2 pots down, also personal prefernce is an unpainted neck, minor problems tho, after some neck sanding and some re-wiring this is an awesome guitar for the price!

I Like The Vintage Style

I wanted this one for the looks first then I liked the sound too and decided to keep electronics and pickups as stock atm.

My one complaint is the quality control. It came with uneven slotted nut and that bothered me. I'll change it as soon as I have time. Other than that some minor visual problems. I guess at this price point these issues are acceptable.

In overall I'm satisfied with the guitar and no major problems so far.

I recommend this one if you like vintage look and don't bothered with the slightly modified SG shape.

Impressive, stylish, great mojo.

I was impressed, it exceeded my expectations. I use it to get the super low sound of all 3 pickups on at the same time. Garage-rock is what I use this guitar for right now.

The neck is "C" shape, feels fatter than your regular skinny-modern LP/SG and all Strat/Tele necks. I can compare it with a PRS "wide-fat" neck profile.

3 humbuckers means you always have to strum and pick on top of the pickup covers.

With the switch in the middle position, you can control all pickups with their respective volume knob. You can have any combination by turning on and off the knobs and even mixing and blending the pickups.

The 3-position switch works like this: 1 - Neck+Middle, 2 - Neck+Middle+Bridge, 3 - Middle+Bridge.

Pros:

- unique deep sound with all 3 pickups on

- great body/neck weight balance

- great neck shape (for me)

- looks awesome

- low cost guitar

Cons:

- low cost finishing (crooked screws, mismatched knobs, crooked pots, gaps and misallignments under the acrylic-looking coating over the neck binding, overall low value parts)

All-in-all, a very good low-cost guitar with the (to be expected) low-cost issues.

Harley Benton DC-600 SG copy

Firstly, I had to send the first one back (bridge installed incorrectly, problem with faulty pickup/ control pots)

I received a replacement and I must say I'm glad I decided to try this guitar again, this time nearly everything was just right. This time the sounds were great, each pick up has its own sound, similar to a Les Paul. Using the pickup selector or turning down the middle pickup gives you a lot of different sounds.

I love the neck, it's quite thick and meaty and there's a long tenon neck joint to the body so this guitar sustains.

The binding was nicely done and I can't fault the paintwork apart from a small nick in the paint by the output jack.

The weight is ok, and it's not too neck heavy like some versions. I'm glad I tried a good one, I'd definitely recommend it to my friends.
