For the money you cannot beat!

For just about a couple of hundred dollars you get a guitar that could play with the multi-thousand dollar guitars. Knowing something about budget guitars, I have come to the conclusion that Harley Benton, by far, is the best budget guitar in the world. From the rounded fret ends to the pickups this guitar is one of the best buys you can make. They even through in Grover tuners! If you are on the fence and trying to decide if this guitar is for you, I would highly suggest that you buy. Strong points: everything! Weak points: nothing!

Beautiful with gold hardware.

I've been playing this guitar for a month now and can't put it down. The balance is perfect. No neck dive here. The pickups are powerful and smooth. The neck is better than ALL my other guitars and is has become my favorite. I can't say enough about this beauty except that i would have paid 3 times the price and still been happy.

Awesome value

I ordered this not expecting much but, it has held up well over the last 3 years I wanted to wait and see how well the instrument held up before I reviewed it and I must say, I’m impressed and other musicians are impressed after I got it and had it for about a week I set the action and went to playing it at gigs for 2 years as my main guitar I still play it but I picked up another guitar as we all know how that goes lol.

I had to replace the tone and volume and toggle switch and output jack about a year in but beyond that it’s been great the frets (stainless steel) are still good after 2 years of 2-7 night a week gigging! The only weak point I’ve found is electronics aren’t the best but the frets tuners nut and bridge hold up well to the abuse.

Snap it up

Straight out of the box winner. Even if all I did was to hang it on the wall for decoration, I'd be happy at that. But this is another winner by HB!!!!

They don’t get any better than this!

Having had Gibson Tribute SG’s I must say this one is above their mark in every way. Finish is stellar, sound is unbelievable, and well balanced. Body is a little thicker than the Gibson’s and neck has a better feel to it. Can adjust the action to super low because frets are straight and very smooth. The Grover tuners add to the tuning stability along with a clean straight fingerboard. Really enjoy having the input jack on the side as well for much easier playing. As a bonus they put a coil split tone switch which adds more flexibility. The pickups also stellar and not worth changing because they are very clear but also handles distortion well without the muddy sound you can often get. Overall for the price, quality, and value these guitars are the best!

DC Custom White

I love this guitar. The sound, the looks, the price and it only took 3 days to get to Pennsylvania USA from Germany. How do they do it? I don’t know but I just ordered a Harley Benton TE 20 HH SBK Matte Black. Can’t wait to get it in only 3 days. Next week I might order another.

Absolutely insane quality and value for the price

Every Harley Benton guitar I've owned has been just incredible, and the DC custom has still blown away my expectations. The finish, neck, binding, hardware is all flawless. The Roswell pickups are so versatile and clear, often budget pickups will lose a lot of volume when split, but these have none of that. Compared to the competitors, this is by far the best take on the modernization of a very vintage design. You can't beat the value here.

Just TRY and find a negative review

If you've already done a bit of research, there isn't much I can say that hasn't been said. Just buy the guitar!!!!! Or do what I did. Purchase one Harley Benton guitar and then buy 5 different Harley Benton guitars. You WILL NOT be disappointed.

Fantastic combination of white and gold, looks and sounds even better in real life. Prompt shipping, it was on the way for 2 weeks and remained tuned on arrival.

Great Guitar

This is a great guitar despite the price. Would like to say this is like owning a more expensive version.

Can't really fault this for the price

At this price range, it's a steal. I have since changed the pickups as the Roswells didn't quite do it for me and I also had to stone the frets to lower the action a little more but having built my own guitars in the past this was a walk in the park for me. Hell, I couldn't even imagine building a guitar at this cost. As with many of these low cost guitars, sometimes you get a beauty that needs no attention and on another occasion you will get the runt of the litter. I guess it's down to who's doing the final inspection at the time.

A beautiful sounding instrument of high quality

I own a Gibson Baritone SG and I am highly impressed with this Harley Benton CT Custom guitar I just received from them. Excellent quality hardware producing a remarkable and enjoyable sound. I am a very happy camper with this instrument.

Worth double the price

This is a fantastic SG-style guitar from Harley Benton. The craftsmanship on this guitar is terrific, with the neck/frets all setup great "out of the box". A genuine SG-guitar, even with the same "neck drop" as the original Gibson model. The white paint is flawless and the gold chrome hardware is beautiful, while the Grover tuners are smooth as butter.

Amazing guitar for the price

I play mainly at home. I have had many different guitars over the years, and this one surprised me. It has amazing quality and features for its price point. I think the only I would like to see different, would be to allow some customization, like an option for different tuners or nut. But at this price, I can’t complain. I may get another.

Very good quality at low price

At the moment I am using this guitar at home and it's great. I really like the tone of this humbuckers. The guitar stays in tune really good. The thing I didn't like about this guitar is that the pots were touching the body making a scratchy sound, but I fixed that easly. It's my second harley benton guitar and I'm impressed of the quality. I highly recomend it.

Lovely Instrument

I am not an expert but, to me, this guitar looks good, feels good and sounds good. I am delighted with it.

WOW!

This is my 2nd Harley Benton and once again I'm blown away by the quality, sound and play-ability if this guitar. I own 2 SG's from the big G and I would put this up against them any day of the week. Incredible quality, set up out of the box is perfect and the fit and finish is amazing. I will continue to buy these guitars for as long as they are available.

Beautiful, sounds good, needs some work.

The guitar is great for the price but needs some work.

In my copy, I grinded a drop of paint under the pickup frame, which interfered with a snug fit.

The frets bite a little. And they have small irregularities that I can eliminate, since I have experience in grinding frets, the problem is not significant and does not interfere with using the guitar, if you do not lower the strings below 1.5 mm, nothing rings. Although I love to bring my guitars to perfection.

In terms of sound and sustain, the guitar is excellent for that kind of money. Perfect for those who love ac / dc sound.

For metal, I would recommend changing the pickups to more powerful ones.

The sound is very clear.

I do not have enough push-pull potentiometers, I will add it myself.

I will also add a 3rd potentiometer for 2 volumes and 1 tone.

The anchor adjusts the neck perfectly.

The guitar is all screened with graphite.

Tuners are good, but it is better to change them to lock tuners.

THE BUILD AND SOUND QUALITY OF THE INSTRUMENT IS AT ITS BEST!IT IS NOT INFERIOR TO MORE EXPENSIVE ELECTRIC GUITARS OF FAMOUS BRANDS!
