Awesome value

I ordered this not expecting much but, it has held up well over the last 3 years I wanted to wait and see how well the instrument held up before I reviewed it and I must say, I’m impressed and other musicians are impressed after I got it and had it for about a week I set the action and went to playing it at gigs for 2 years as my main guitar I still play it but I picked up another guitar as we all know how that goes lol.

I had to replace the tone and volume and toggle switch and output jack about a year in but beyond that it’s been great the frets (stainless steel) are still good after 2 years of 2-7 night a week gigging! The only weak point I’ve found is electronics aren’t the best but the frets tuners nut and bridge hold up well to the abuse.

Can't really fault this for the price

At this price range, it's a steal. I have since changed the pickups as the Roswells didn't quite do it for me and I also had to stone the frets to lower the action a little more but having built my own guitars in the past this was a walk in the park for me. Hell, I couldn't even imagine building a guitar at this cost. As with many of these low cost guitars, sometimes you get a beauty that needs no attention and on another occasion you will get the runt of the litter. I guess it's down to who's doing the final inspection at the time.

The guitar is great for the price but needs some work.

In my copy, I grinded a drop of paint under the pickup frame, which interfered with a snug fit.

The frets bite a little. And they have small irregularities that I can eliminate, since I have experience in grinding frets, the problem is not significant and does not interfere with using the guitar, if you do not lower the strings below 1.5 mm, nothing rings. Although I love to bring my guitars to perfection.

In terms of sound and sustain, the guitar is excellent for that kind of money. Perfect for those who love ac / dc sound.

For metal, I would recommend changing the pickups to more powerful ones.

The sound is very clear.

I do not have enough push-pull potentiometers, I will add it myself.

I will also add a 3rd potentiometer for 2 volumes and 1 tone.

The anchor adjusts the neck perfectly.

The guitar is all screened with graphite.

Tuners are good, but it is better to change them to lock tuners.

I really like this guitar. The quality is amazing. I have only had it in my hands about six hours now and plays fantastic. All I did was return it out of the box and started playing this set up for low action was great as well as with the intonation. I am presently very pleased.

love it! only -slight- downside are the pu's; but this can be corrected with a few little tweaks on the equalizer...
