Budget-Friendly Gem with Playability Punch

As a budget-conscious guitarist, I was intrigued by the Harley Benton Acoustic Guitar, and after spending some time with it, I'm ready to share my thoughts. One notable aspect of this guitar is the smoothness of the fingerboard overlay. While it maintains an even surface overall, there are noticeable wear patterns in certain areas where the overlay has rubbed off. Despite these cosmetic imperfections, the fingerboard remains structurally sound and does not affect the guitar's playability. Speaking of playability, the Harley Benton guitar excels in this department. The strings are set at an optimal height, allowing for effortless navigation across the fretboard. Whether strumming chords or picking out intricate melodies, I found the guitar to be comfortable and responsive, making it a joy to play for extended periods. In terms of sound, the guitar delivers a balanced and resonant tone that exceeds expectations for its price range. From mellow fingerpicking to strident strumming, the Harley Benton guitar consistently produces a pleasing sound that is suitable for a variety of musical styles. While the wear patterns on the fingerboard overlay may be a concern for some, they do not detract from the overall quality and performance of the Harley Benton Acoustic Guitar. In fact, they add a touch of character to the instrument, reflecting the hours of practice and passion poured into playing. Overall, this guitar offers smooth playability and impressive sound at an affordable price point, making it a solid choice for both beginners and experienced players alike.

Dont know how they make an elrctro acoustic for this money

I just received my Delta Blues - being the proud owner of now 11 acoustics ranging from two top end Avalons priced circa £4,000 - £5,000, I have to say this wee budget Harley Benton definitely hits the spot for a practice & small gig guitar. I appreciate it is ultra light weight & not the best tonal woods & when i come to change the cheap bronze factory fitted strings to Elixir Coated Phosphor Bronze 11's (which i use on all my acoustics apart from 10's on my two 12 strings, i will shave the saddle a touch to bring the string height down from 2.2ml on the Base E at 12th Fret down to 1.9m or so. I checked all the fretting which is A1, so there should be no fret buzz on that height. I am really impressed on the volume & sustain particuarly on the base strings . The onboard tuner is really accurate & pick up not just Fishman but ok. When i think back to when i bought one of my first acoustic guitars 46 years ago an Antoria Folk Guitar with no tuner or pick up at £120 back then, the Harley Benton Delta Blues MJCE at £110 you cant go wrong

Mindblown

I wished for a guitar like this. I have my Crafter from before but this. This was really unexpected. This is worth so much more money.

This is so light weight guitar, so beautifuly sounding, so playable. I love it. It fits my hands perfectly. The finish is top notch, the build is top tear. What else could you want? Amazing. Another Harley in my arsenal.

Delta Blues - Unbeatable for the Money

I purchased the Harley Benton Delta Blues MJCE with fingers crossed! A mini jumbo with a pickup for $99.00? I have been very pleasantly surprised with the playability, comfort, and versatility of the instrument. I have never seen a playable instrument of this quality for such an affordable price! I For the money, it's a no-brainer.

MJCE Mahogany

This is my go to acoustic practice guitar. The sound is good, a little more mellow than a spruce top. The saddle is wider than most replacement offerings, so just order a blank. The frets in the cowboy chord area high strings are showing wear after a year of playing, but this is the one I pick up and play most often, so it is expected. It's a good guitar for the price.

Amazing

Really nice guitar, especially considering its price. The frets are a bit sharp, but it's still very much playable.

Generally good guitar, plays well the only downside is minor quality issues around the guitar (which doesn't disturb the sound though)

Tämän kitaran mikki on kyllä tosi onneton. Mutta en tähän hintaan mitään muuta odottanutkaan.

On helpposoittoinen ja tykkään tosi paljon siitä, että viritin on integroituna itse kitaraan.

The quality is higher than its price

I am completely satisfied with this guitar. Unlike other guitars made in China, there are no traces of glue, no protruding frets, absolutely correct neck geometry. And, most importantly, the height of the nut and saddle, the bend of the neck are adjusted. In one word — excellent playability. And very nice price.

Very nice guitar!

I took this guitar to record it in my tracks. I liked the sound that fits perfectly into the mix. Very good piezo pickup with frequency correction. The body of the guitar is light, and the neck outweighs a little, you need to get used to it. Oddly enough, I liked the tuners, which have a smooth ride. The guitar finish is gorgeous, there is practically nothing to complain about. The strings are still a bit high from the frets, so you need to bring it to mind with the master. It's hard to pinch the strings with your fingers yet. A wire dangles inside, which rattles, if you shake the guitar, you just need to press it with something. There is also rattling and resonances when playing on the 5 and 6 strings, this also needs to be clarified with the master. As a result, it is an excellent instrument with good sound, comfortable neck and chic appearance, but which requires fine tuning from the master.

Over then it cost.

This is not my first Acoustic guitar and not the first Harley Benton in my guitar set. I own an incredible bass which cost 150$ and you will never discern the difference between him and Fender jazz on the records!

About this acoustic guitar:

- Well made, there are some flaws, but they are miserable. Very pleasant to the touch and looks amazing.

- Awesome sound, it's not a big body, but it is a very loud, readable, and saturated sound.

- Playability is over than you expect for this cost, strings are low, and you don't need to do hard work to make it sound. The neck is kinda electric guitar's neck, which is good for me, not a big difference with my Gibson LP so I don't need to get used to it.

I enjoy this guitar every time I play it, I think it was made to give you joys!

Totally recommended!

The guitar is basically a plywood wannabe copy of mini jumbo Gibson CJ-165EC with a little longer neck scale than original short scaled Gibson model. It has all nice and desired features for a that price level, even a pickup with a tuner and is manufactured very well, tuning machines and neck are fine and the guitar very playable overall. Except one thing that made me returning it: it has the same design flaw that my 2 original Gibsons CJ-165EC had and I also returned both Gibsons previously because of that: because of forward shifted X-bracing (and it is quite heavy one on HB) the 2 tone braces sitting beyond bridge are too far away from the bridge and not supporting exact spot under the bridge. The bridge is starting to belly immediately after putting 12-53 strings, even 11-52 strings (later ones are the maximum gauge to be put on it). Although it has additional 6mm plate support under the complete area of bridge, the bridge is shifting up heavily 3mm on the place beyond the bridge pins, and sinking 1.5mm in front of bridge On the long run it will rise more and affect the intonation at least. If it is fixed with stronger braces I would gladly buy it again as it is well made guitar for that price point.

Best bang for buck guitar I ever played!!

I am a professional entertainer and I bought this guitar for playing around the house rather than having to dig out one of my gigging guitars every time. I love how natural it looked and thought it would look good on a stand in the corner of the room when I wasn't using it. I was blown away by the lovely woody tones of the guitar and the immediate palyability. I tried it at my next gig and was really impressed with the consistency of sound through the PA. It was very close soundwise to guitars I paid 20 times the price for. Very impressed.

Excellente guitare à un prix avantageux

La guitare, en elle-même, est magnifique, la forme et la couleur, les finitions sont excellentes; En dehors de cela, le son est net, avec des basses profondes et des aigus cristallins. Je le recommande totalement.
