Well maded cab
The quality of this speaker cab for the price is unreal and the stock speaker for a no name brand ainât bad either. I need a cab for my v30 so recommend highly
BUY it!!!!!!
Ok first of all, I have been a guitarist for 30 years, and play professionally electric AND classical guitar, and keyboards. I owned TONS of gear, because I also used to sell it. Nowadays I record my albums in my home recording studio: just a room. I was using a Laney oversized 1x12 shut into a closet with a mic to record with my tube amps. Then I switched to tube amps recorded with IRs through the excellent Harley Benton PA100, which I use solely as a LINE OUT to get the whole amp signal into my IRs. I was pretty happy with that, but I somewhat missed the interaction with a real speaker. I also learned to equalize (but advanced stuff, not basic), so with my new skills I can make a 1x12 sound more like a 4x12. I bought this Harley Benton cab without much expectations, but I found the weight interesting, because I can't have too much weight in the 'closet' or it could break (I keep the cab off the floor to kill the rumble). I was also expecting a smaller cab than the LANEY cab. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this HB cab is NOT smaller, this IS a proper oversized cab, and is much lighter than the Laney. Which is interesting, as the Laney was made of marine grade plywood blah blah, but this one of MDF. But I don't care, because it's lighter, and wood is just wood! If you take care, it should last as long as the Laney or any other expensive cabs. But then I plugged in my beautiful Bugera amps, and WOW. I was expecting a mediocre sound, but the speaker sounds really good, it has nice crisp mids. With the eq, now I have a super responsive, killer 4x12 cab tone. I am definitely using this setup to record my new tracks. I am always pleasantly surprised by the quality and price of Harley Benton gear. I'd be dumb to spend 4 times more on a cab when I can get THIS. It's really excellent! I am a celestion V30 guy but I might actually leave the HB speaker in there, with my EQ skills I can get a killer half stack tone! Once again, bravo, Harley Benton!

update: interestingly, after swapping the HB speaker with an EMINENCE MADE IN USA speaker, I ended up liking the HB speaker more, believe it or not. The Eminence sounded too scooped (it was taken out a Hughes & Kettner combo, not a cheap amp). The hb speaker has more mids, it's easier on the ears. Pretty incredible!

update 2: after fitting a V30, my fav speaker, I am even more impressed by the stock speaker. It's a nice speaker, with lots of warm mids. It's a pro level speaker, it's not a cheap piece of junk. You don't have to change it if you want to save time and money.
Harley Benton G112
First cab for myself and a bargain at that. Being my first cab i cant compare it to anything but i have ran my joyo firebrand through it and its a gret sounding cab.
Great cabinet!
I ordered this just for the cabinet, because I already had a speaker I wanted to use.
Cabinet is of good quality and construction. I used the speaker in another cabinet, and old car subwoofer cabinet that converted to a guitar cabinet, and that sounds great too.
A good value!
Such a good Cab for the money
Good cab sounds way more than you buy it for, would recommend for someone who is looking at buying a cab for the first time of something that wont take up alot of space
G112 Cabinet
I purchased this cabinet to go with my JET CITY 20 Watt head and I am very pleased with the sound and quality. It's a great little cabinet for the money.
Good practice cabinet
Good practice cabinet
Good quality
Sound little harsh
Excellent Quality
Loved this little Cab, sounds great with my 5 Watt tube amp head. Build quality is good. Shipping was quite fast.
Great value for money
You can see the glue inside the box, otherwise it looks and sounds quite good.
Great value, quality sound.
I bought this to extend my sound whilst playing on larger stages, the build is amazing, the cab feels good and is built to last the rough life of the road. The sound quality is surprisingly good for the price, kicks a good punch. Very impressed.
Perfect for such price
The sound is not what I would like. The assembly is also not the best, you can see a lot of glue inside. But, try to find an another cab of this size for the same price.
Very good product.
Bought this as I am gradual down sizing my equipment for gigging so tried this. I was a bit put off by the reviews, but don't be, it is a great sounding speaker, light and easy to handle with the solidly built cab and handle.
Now let me explain, I grew with British rock from Marshall and Laney amps, which I use with this speaker and it translates their sound perfectly giving that late 70's sound of blues rock, just what I wanted. Do not know what you would think for fender or clean amps, but it does the job for me and the sound I want.
For the money I don't think you will get better.
boom box
great speaker cab great sounds
Great practice cab
I got this to use as a cabinet for home practice with my Orange Rocker 15 Terror head, basically as an alternative to getting the combo version. I mostly intended to use it as an option for occasional 'loud' practice when sick of attaching a loadbox to the head and running it into a DAW, so I didn't want to spend too much money.
As it happens, I've ended up using it far more than I expected. It's nice and light for moving around, the speaker jack input is positioned well for a head sitting on top, and the sound is perfect for practice (though it has improved with use; it sounded a little bit 'stiff' at the start, but the speaker is now broken in). It's a tidy, unobtrusive little unit that doesn't take up too much space in my apartment, and does its job well when required.
Is it going to replace a 4x12" earthshaking monster cab? Probably not, but that's hardly what it's for. As a practice option or a backup, it gives you the sound of a full 12" speaker cone (compared to the 8" or 10" options found in most small combos) for a lot less than the typical price difference between a head or combo version of the same amp, and the outlay won't cause you any sleepness nights if/when you decide to replace or upgrade it.
Great little box for home use. I pair it with Orange Brent Hinds terror.
Takes a bit of time for the speaker to settle in but for the price can't be beat.
bang for the buck
i bought this 1x12 speaker for my home studio , works great wish it had a extension plug in to run a additional speaker off in sequence , it is open back , kinda wish it was sealed . great speaker and cabinet .at the price cant expect more than what it is .gets plenty loud and works great off my fender tube head
Metal? YES
I've bought this Amp and use it with a Joyo bant amp Zombie and its a BEAST on every aspect related to the AMP.
- Clean tones? Rich and dinamic
- Overdrive and distortion tones? Heavy and delicious. When used with a tube screamer and the gain its about to "break" from clean to a distorted with single coil, its a honey pot.
- Disgustinly loud if you want it to.
I can understand that maybe someone would want the one with a vintage celestion one, but let me tell you that this one does the job and does the job GOOD.
Build quality its also very decent/good. Couldnt find any flaw on it.
Im just a satisfied customer after triying it.
Recommended.
LOOKS NICE FOR THE PRICE
I have this cab for a year now and i have no issues with it...
Give me clean tones and acceptable overdrives and distortion with good effects...
