Amazing value for money

I bought this as a travel guitar based on the excellent reviews. And I must admit I'm simply astonished. Build quality, hardware, setup, playability, intonation and sound are great. Sustain and balance are fine. Pickup and electronics are surprisingly good and there's even a high-quality chromatic tuner build in. The only thing I've slightly modified are the bridge and nut by lowering them approx 1mm to improve the action and playability to my taste. All in all, including a durable gigbag, this is amazing value for money. I definitely wouldn't categorize this a beginners guitar, rather intermediate almost pro level. No wonder these are topsellers.

Outstanding!!

I bought this guitar for my 13 year old step daughter for her first proper electro acoustic. Absolutely fantastic guitar, in all respects. Beautiful well rounded tone, nice neck (I was concerned the neck would feel wide, but it is slender and comfortable). The action on arrival is maybe a tiny bit higher than I imagined, but can be adjusted if you wish, in the end we just left it, it’s not crazy high action like some are straight out of the box. Built in tuner and pickup are of a good quality. The body of the guitar is small enough to make it travel-size and handy, but it is big enough to have a strong sound. Like most smaller guitars, it is more suited to fingerstyle, sound can get harsh if you play too hard with a pick, but a soft pick not played too rough and it maintains it’s great tone. If I could give this 6-stars, I would! I plan to buy one myself, to replace my Tanglewood electro travel, as the Harley Benton is quite simply better in every way.

Lovely GS Mini travel guitar.

I've had this guitar about a year now and love it. My son in law has a Taylor GS Mini and even he loves this Harley Benton GS Mini. Would recommend to anyone wanting a really nice travel guitar but can't afford the Taylor. it really is a good substitute

I couldn't believe how good it was for that price.

I've been playing for 30 years and had just bought an amazing Eastman e10oo. I ordered this one for my daughter's birthday as her first guitar.

The guitar sounds really great and feels really nice. It doesn't have a lot of bass but that's a small guitar... Oh I forgot to mention! I actually ordered a Taylor GS mini mahogany from woodbrass before the eastman and I sent it back. I actually like that little HB better.

one of my best investment

I am totally in love with this instrument. It stays in tune, and it has an amazing built in tuner, and what an amazing sound it can generate. Its a no brainer.

Nice clean balanced sound ..... worth it at twice the price ...!

Pros :

This guitar is exceptional value. It played fine straight out of the box with the supplied strings all though the action was too high for me. I lowered the action at the nut and saddle to suite and while I was there i dressed and polished the frets ....they did need it (only to be expected at this price) Love the scale length and compact body size ..... projects like a much bigger guitar and rings like a bell.

Cons : Frets may need a little work ?

Uncredible for this price

Playing for over 30 years already and having owned many expensive guitars (+3000$), the only thing i can say is that this guitar is absolutely brilliant for its price. If you have the money to spare and you want a great little fun guitar, this is the way to go. Stays in tune perfectly, love the finish and sound surprisingly great acoustically. I also use the guitar for recording, adding a few effects helps to get a full round professional acoustic guitar sound.

Satisfied Excellent Sounding & Build Quality of this Guitar

1. I'm using this guitar for my covers & tutorials.

2. This is great for travelling and comfort of the size.

3. I'm satisfied the sound and build.

4. Overall for strumming, picking, fingerstyle is comfortable.

5. Compare to all mahogany body, this spruce top is more sustain for me and the sound is not muted.

6. The price of this guitar is great more cheaper compare to others and also it has built in pickup.

7. I like the color and also it has padded bag included when you purchase.

Overall Satisfied!!!

Nice portable guitar, impressive for the price

I have 5 different acoustic guitars at home, all full size, and I have 10+ experience in playing acoustic guitars.

This is a very nice guitar for the price and it's particularly nice for playing fingerpicking, on the sofa or on your bed, even at low volumes. It's decent also for strumming, even if the small size shows its limit for that. No issues in terms of playability for the size.

The finish on mine was very good, the action already low without the need of any fix.

I'd suggest this guitar to anybody who wants a small instrument to be played at home or in travel.

If you want to buy your one and only acoustic guitar is probably better to find something else, but if this is your budget and you want to be comfortable (in terms of size), than go for it. Perfect for kids learning guitar. My 9 years old daughter can easily play it.

Harley Benton GS-Travel-E Spruce

I have posted a review of this online.

Rather than rewrite that here I will simply say excellent value for money instrument, just right as a travel guitar, maybe not in a plane, but otherwise good tone, construction and playing comfort.

This is bought as a present for someone else, although I will set it up to suit them, though not much to do.

Probably the best value for money guitar I have ever handled, not the best guitar in the world though I would say there are many much more expensive guitars that would comapre badly against this. Even if you think it a risk at this price no real risk at all.

Top Cheap Guitar

Huge sound came out of this guitar , the finish is very good, no sharp end frets, the fretboard needs a little oil , the gigbag is dope , come on, its a 30 euros bag in a 100 euros guitar, BUY this , i?ve already bought the mahogony version of the GS travel, but it was a faulty unit so sent it back , but they only had at the time in stock the spruce one, i didnt wanted to cause the other one has a lot of reviews and this one not. but man, this Spruce top guitar is 5 time better than the other one in mahogony , it sound a lot better , more mids , its fuller. Buy this and dont regret if it breaks.

What you hear is what you get.

Awesome mini guitar! I checked first the sample recorded sound from which I heard and matched exactly from what I got on hand.

Pros: Solid quality built pair with signature bag. I love the mids and high dominates more than the lows.

Cons: There is no adjustment for pickup, yet an above average sound if you plug it to mixer.

Worth to buy for the price range.

Absolutely great guitar

This guitar is awesome. It's sounds and plays way above its price range. Some have said it is a copy/clone of a Taylor GS Mini which is very expensive. This guitar is beautiful . It looks, sounds and feels great. Might change the strings in the near future just to get a new or different sound. But as it is.......absolutely great guitar in a smaller package.

low price but it sounds very good - acoustic and electric.

it has a look of the taylor gs mini that is very expensive. i use it at home and in family trips because it 3/4 size. very comfortable.

Fantastic guitar, even fantastic price

I have been playing in a band for about 8 years now and have always been using my Custom Acoustic Guitar as my go to guitar. This HB guitar was recommended by a friend and ever since opening it, it has not stopped being amazing.

Pros: This guitar can be played immediately out of the box. It IS that fantastic. The clarity of the sound and the finish of the guitar is top notch.

Cons: The battery for the pickup wasn't secured properly. To be honest, having it shipped from Germany all the way to Singapore, I was just glad that the battery holder was the only issue.

Ultimately, this guitar for this price is an absolute steal.

IMPRESSIVE!

I bought it because of the reviews.

I loved the guitar at the first touch even with stock strings gauge!

Really, if you don't try it you can't understand how can be awesome this guitar! ;)
