Ottima sorpresa

Per il prezzo pagato, è uno strumento eccellente. Lo utilizzo per suonare in casa, ma non escludo che possa essere anche un buono strumento da live. Consigliatissimo.

Great value!

Great bass for the price. I was very impressed with the quality and look of the guitar. Others who saw it did not believe the low price.

Amazing Bass!

Comes with great strings, didn't even have to replace them, the electronics are great and the tuner works and the amp and preamp. It sounds great for it's price range.

One thing I did not expect was its size, it's really huge but I have huge hands so it's perfect for me.

Great acoustic bass for low budget

I went for this bass to have alternative to my electric Fender JB for small private gigs and jamming with my fellows unplugged on the parties or outside. I have never had experience with acoustic bass, so I decided for this entry level budget instrument, and do not regret.

Black finish with cream binding looks exclusive. Instrument is in jumbo size, so for my long hands fits accurate. Sound is nice, warm. Neck is thicker than I was used to, but easy to get use on it.

When plugging it into amp, I have found that E string sounds quieter than others, and while trying to correct it by built-in equalizer, I’ve got feed back, so I need to try it with acoustic combo instead, and maybe that will fix it. Anyway, additionally I’ve ordered that 5€ feedback suppressor for sound hole.

One of my friends - guitarist, is going to order one, after seeing and trying mine.

Pros: attractive design, warm sound, stay tuned, able to follow acoustic guitars, affordable price for sufficient quality.

Cons: E string sounds quieter while playing plugged to non-acoustic amp.

I don’t regret, as I have not expected such quality for such low price.

Perfect for practice

Bought some years ago now, mainly for practicing or playing outside in the summer, mostly alone : does this job perfectly. I've used it a few times in rehearsal or small gigs, amplified through my Ampeg BA115HP, it sounds very good too.

Finish is really nice, electronic is reliable (battery last ... since i bought it !), confortable to play, ... Only problem is one of the machine head that have a tendency to "lock" when tuning since day one, not really important.

I hesitated between an HB B-30 and the Ibanez AEB8E at the time : i'm sure the difference isn't worth the difference in price.

Happy with my buying.

Lovely Bass Guitar

The tone of this bass guitar is lovely and the build quality is great. Having an XLR output has been really useful. Overall it's amazing value for money.

real bargain

Since this bass comes from low budget category, I am pleasantly surprised with the overall appearance, and with the quality of the manufacturing.

I find it very easy to play so I strongly recommend this bass for the beginners with bass or just for those people that are looking for a fun.

It is a real bargain and therefore, I mark it with 5 stars as such.

Amazing bass for this price range.

Flawless finish, great tone. Would expect this kind of quality from much higher priced instruments.

Amazing Quality and Sound for the price.

My girlfriends brother bought this through my account and had me look it over as he is fairly new to playing bass and I have been around guitars and playing for over 10 years now and have lots of experience setting up and modding/maintaining instruments this is an absolutely incredible instrument for the price. Sounds rich and warm unplugged and crisp and clear when plugged in. The craftsmanship and finishing are also very well done for the price, Harley Bentons seem to compare to instruments 2 or even 3 times the price easily. Amazing.

Cheap but works

Beware that this bass is a shorter 32" scale, I was not aware of that before I bought it because the scale length is written in centimeters instead of inches on the website. Not a big problem for me though

The bass is loud enough to be easily heard when playing with fingers without plugging it in, which is the main reason I bought it. It's easy to pick it up and just play it.

It's loud enough to play together with an acoustic guitar if you play with pick. If you play with fingers it won't be loud enough unless the guitarist is playing quietly or also with fingers.

The finishing is obviously not perfect as it's a very cheap guitar, but it's not noticeable unless you look very closely. Overall it's good for the price

The piezo pickup in the guitar does not seem to be pick up the low E-string at all. The other 3 strings are picked up fine.

Great bass

I bought this bass to attend a weekend outdoor workshop. Not knowing if there would be mains available in the woods I thought it would be good to buy an acoustic.

This bass is great value for the money.

It was delivered to me in the U.K. very quickly and arrived well packaged in two cardboard boxes and plenty of air bound wrapping.

The neck is straight and the action fine.

The only problem I have seen so far is the built in tuner which tends to 'roam' around. This is a different response to the built in tuners I have on my acoustic guitars and ukuleles. It may be due to being a bass. I will do some investigation and see if a replacement unit will resolve the problem. Apart from that I thoroughly recommend this bass.

I have since replaced the tuner/pre-amp. Whilst I had the pre-amp out I found a loose connection to the power socket that could have caused the problem. As I had now way of repairing it I replaced the pre-amp anyway. No works without any problem. Great bass!

Great bass almost for free!

We bought it as a present for our friend cause it was so cheap. But we were very positively surprised! It sounds and performs great! No complain in any sense. I think I will buy some Harley Benton guitar for myself too.

Nice!

I'm not a bass player, guitar mostly, but I needed an acoustic bass for fooling around with the buddies. This was a pleasant surprise. Good quality, great sound, I can not complain for the price I paid!....Worth it IMHO.

Great budget acoustic Bass.

I bought this Bass in 2005 initially so i could reherse material at home easily without upsetting the wife by dragging an amp into the lounge. More recently i've been doing some work with an accoustic guitarist so have played a few shows with this beast and to be honest it's more than up to the challenge. It looks great with a high gloss black finish edged in cream and has the look and feel of a much bigger budget bass. The neck is quite chunky but feels good and the action suprisingly low. The EQ, presence and volume sliders do the job. A 9v battery slides in behind the electrics which has a red battery low LED but to be fair if you use a good quality battery it won't need changing much.

When I work live with the acoustic bass it goes straight into the PA via a Behringer BDI 21 modelling DI box which gives me a bit of extra control over the tone and drive and that set up works really well for the small gigs i use it for. I'm really impressed with the build quality of this Bass for the price. My only gripe was there was only one strap button on the bass meaning that unless you want to play seated you will need to buy another one. I fit all my basses with strap locks so not a big deal for me but something to bear in mind. My verdict overall, for the price faultless!
