Nice finish and bang for buck

Sounds good for price but little inaccurate intonation but what can you expect for 90 euros. But the package you get is straight bang for buck

good, but...

I think the neck was very thick compared to my old guitar, so I didn't like that and sent it back.

I think sounds OK for the price, and it is well finished.

Good guitar

Good guitar for the price and good sound. However, there are is a lot of fret buzzing and the fretwork is bad. (There are two loose fret wires).

Sounds good, stays in tune and looks nice.

For the money you cant go wrong

Guitar played straight out of the box

No sharp fret ends tuning was fine

Not sure about the eq had one of these went dead during a session and it wasnt the battery but you get what you pay for

i also bought the epiphone pr 150 na a bit more money but a much nicer guitar to feel and play id stick with the epiphone if i had to chose between the 2 guitars for home use

Update after a few months use ..H/Benton D-120ce truss rod has become loose over time if you turn the allen key you can feel it flopping around ..needed a fret level and fret polish the ultimate gripe after all adjustments .bridge / frets /neck will not stay in tune harmonics are out at 12 fret i think the saddle bridge is slightly off

Update on Epiphone No fret level needed reduced the saddle in height for player comfort No other issues with this guitar conclusion EPIPHONE was better built from day one

herley benton

This guitar harley benton, is cheep not bad for the money, the guitar sound good as well, i did set up by my self neck -bridge etc... only i can say is the quality of the frets is poor & sharp around the ending, when you play & move your hand you feel cutting the hand, (almost impossible) playability, so i fix the frets by file, my self.

cheap and cheerful

when i bought this guitar i did so for alternative tuning i wasnt expecting anything special. it was cheap to buy and sounded good unplugged, but did need the fishman pickup adjusted inside to give an even sound to all strings when plugged in. over time a few of the guitars frets came off but again no real complaints as for the money its a great little guitar. recommend for beginners as its not expensive and sounds decent.

Wish I'd spent more...

The guitar sounds okay for the most part when played acoustically, but the pickup is not very good quality. I think it would have perhaps been wiser to spend the money on a nicer guitar without a pickup, and then either buy a separate pickup or simply mic it up when required. The guitar is quite difficult and uncomfortable to play. The action is set very high, and it doesn't appear to be adjustable. You might be tempted to think this is an okay guitar for a beginner's first guitar, but please don't make the same mistake I did! It has somewhat discouraged me from playing it, at least until I buy a better guitar. This purchase has also rather put me off the Harley Benton brand.
