Harley Benton D-120CE BK 4-stars Reviews
Guitar for beginners
too good guitar for beginners, must put better strings
Very nice instrument, perfect sound, perfect for beginners
It really worth buying it!
I didn't expect this quality from a 90 Euros product. the sound is amazing, quality of the product is really good, also the pickup, sounds like a product with much higher price.
On the other hand, weakness would be the quality of the fret board. not a good material and they didn't polish it well and it can bother you.
A fair good deal for beginners.
One of the best acoustic guitars at this price point.
A good sounding guitar..But production quality inspectors tend to forget 1 thing..
I bought a lot of Harley Benton D-120CE BK, for myself and also reselling it and everytime I received my orders I always look at the neck, there are always a very minor issue in the neck and the truss rod, all I received was either bowed or there is a bulge in the part where the neck meets the body of the guitar, I don't know if this happend during shipping (temperature, humidity etc.) or the guitar was not properly setup or did not undergone basic setup prior to shipping. Somehow I manage to adjust the truss rod and somehow make it barely noticeable that I can still sell the item without any complaints from my customers.
However, it would be great if Harley Benton (Inspection) Team would take a little more time to inspect the units carefully and make sure the guitars are properly setup at least to a playing condition. The guitar sounds good and the built-in preamp is loud too..the guitar is close to perfect except for that very minor issue in the neck/truss rod.
Amazing product!
I have this guitar for a couple of months now and it is really great. Great sound and great playabilty form the box. No blemishes at all. I use for occasional gigs with no problem.
Good guitar
Great looking dreadnought, had to take care of the fret ends and put locking tuner, after that have a great guitar for way less, and awesome sound.
Best guitar for the price and still a great guitar regardless!
I have used this model for a while and I can say that I don't assume a big gap between this guitar and the guitars double or triple the price.
Great guitar for a beginner.
The guitar be metal af shi be bussin. Although the 6th string has a buzz sometimes on the 12th fret but it's cool.
Begginer/Budget Friendly
Guitar survived transport despite having a hole punched in a box.
Plays smoothly, came with good strings, and a battery.
Paint was without any damages, and it was well protected by the box.
Came with allen wrench for neck tensioning,
Overall nice instrument.
Would recommend for begginers, and budget players.
I might buy another one for my dad, who wants to get back to playing,
Great
I'm happy with this guitar no complains
Good
This guitar worth money. Good quality and nice sound for this priece/
For the money, this is great.
Purchased on a whim, when I needed an acoustic I could bring on the road and DI for two songs in the set. Met every expectation.
Easy to play, sounds a lot better than you'd expect for the price. The fret edges were fine, the action was good. Played right out of the box. I knew when buying it that I wasn't going to be getting anything amazing but for two songs a night that require an acoustic, this is more than fine.
For the price, Great guitar
Of course you can't expect top level of attention to detail, and you'll have to set it up.
But sounds quite nice, especially for the price.
Realy good for the price. I took it as a beginner and i was not very gentle with it. I have it almost 3 years and i am really happy. If you want a guitar affordable that sounds good, then thats the best option.
a great first acoustic guitar
i am very impressed with this guitar,it feels and plays like a much more expensive guitar mine came with all level frets and no fret sprout witch you would expect for a guitar at this price range.GREAT BUY!!!
Street-cool
Cool looking guitar that is good for learning or to take to the beach ( no need to worry about scratches or the cold weather)
Good guitar for beginners
Good full size guitar with a cutaway, so the bottom frets can be reached easily. Build quality is decent. However, there were some frets that were a bit sharp and not finished well. This could have been better. Delivered to Sweden perfectly. The packaging was great, and there was no damage to the guitar during shipping. The guitar also has a built in pickup. This is decent, but to find a pickup at this price point was surprising. Sound was also pretty nice, with decent string action. Overall, would recommend it for a beginner.
A surprisingly good guitar
I didn't anticipate much at this price point, but this is quite a good guitar.
My only real critiques are with the bridge of the guitar, and the bridge pins.
The bridge is a less refined, and seemingly softer piece of wood. It seems to have been rather rough cut, and could use some love from a cabinet scraper. The holes for the bridge pin aren't the cleanest work, and the wood here is pretty soft.
Some of the bridge pins seem to have been forced in a little too far, which considering the soft wood, and the cheap bridge pins, makes them rather hard to get back out again.
I've yet to plug it in to a PA system, so I can't speak to the amplification, but acoustically the guitar sounds great. Fit and finish are surprisingly decent, and it was set up fairly well when it made it to me.
