Very impressed with the standard BLK Telecaster!

I ordered this guitar last Friday and it arrived early the next Thursday. I am very pleased indeed will this guitar. The neck is slim reminds me very much of the one on my Fender Stratocaster very easy to play. No problems with the frets no cuts on my hand when I run my hand up and down the frets.

Good fit neck/body. All electrics work and the pickups give an authentic Tele sound.

Volume and tone knobs work properly.

Would definitely recommend this guitar.

good except a buzzy high e bridge

Quality good neck etc., good twangy sound as expected.

only issue is the bridge e string spring which is buzzy, tried numerous attempts to resolve now just accept it, doesn't come through the pick ups so just turn up the amp

Awesome little guitar

We bought this as a back up guitar for on tour, it came well setup and l restrung it with heavier strings. Sounds great and holds its tuning well.

As good as other similar telecasters selling for twice as much.

Would buy again if we needed another one.

Thanks

Needed a complete set up

Out of the box the guitar was pretty unplayable. I lowered the action at the bridge end as much as I could and still had no luck. The intonation was pretty difficult to get right as well. I bought a wilkinson brass saddle bridge for £15 and decided to give that a go, what a difference it made! Some of the frets around the 12 the fret needed some attention.

Pickups obviously are not fender standard, but hold there own, and give some pretty authentic tele tones.

The tone pot is pretty unwresponsive but you can change those easily and cheap enough.

After all the tinkering which only actually took about an hour, the guitar is a pretty decent player. If anyone has any complaints about this guitar, just ask yourself what do you want for £50?! Brilliant base for modding, and is cheap enough to not worry about the consequences if it goes wrong. Now I just have to stop looking at all the impressive and cheap Harley Benton guitars.

Watch andf hear it !! (I made two youtube films)

I had just restarted playing guitar again after a prolonged period of being unable to due to illness - this guitar is perfect for someone on a low-budget but who still wants a great product!! Watch:

is a great buy. I make mistakes in my low quality video but you can hear the guitar being played in different forms of music. Buy one and enjoy!!

Good for experimenting

My main guitar is set up for drop tuning so I bought this one to be able to fiddle around in standard tuning (and occasionally in Drop D). I would say it is perfect to be used as a backup guitar or for somebody just starting out.

It needs a set up for sure, as the action is pretty high and the intonation seems a bit off. The sound is alright, if somebody is quite anal about that then they could just change the pickups, that would improve it greatly.

It's really not as bad as some people says, but bear in mind that you probably would not be using this for studio recordings or world tours. Great for experimenting, backup or to practice on.

Great guitar for the price

I bought this guitar as a birthday present for my granddaughter (age 15). It is fantastic value for money, the quality is excellent and the sound is fantastic. I could find no fault with it and there was virtually no setting up required. It was tried out by an expert lead guitarist on a gig and he was well satisfied with it.
