It's Ok

For the price it's ok, it plays well and looks cool, nothing really wrong with it. It's quite heavy and a nice round neck profile. It just didn't sing for me, I was looking for a snappy country sound, but it just didn't "snap" or chicken pick the way I felt a Tele should, I could have changed the pickups but i felt the body just wasn't resonant enough to get the results I wanted from it.

Nice!

A little bit on the heavy side but a good guitar

TE-52 NA

In general, the tool is normal. But there are a couple of little things about the technique, it's:

1. The upper threshold, the strings get stuck in it after each band.

2. The frets are not polished and the strings slide badly on them.

There is also a shoal on cosmetics, at the first inspection of the guitar, I immediately noticed that the varnish on the back of the neck was falling off, but I thought that I could live with it. But in the future, the varnish continued to fall off in other places. I wrote about this situation in support, but still have not received a response.

Perfect guitar if we ignore the heavy weight at 4.4 kg

Pros:

- Good looks

- Good sound

- Good playability

- Expensive looking

Cons

- Weighs 4.4 kg and hence doesn't inspire me as much to play it.

I bought a TE-62 SFG instead and I love it. I wish they also had a TE-62 in this color.

A honorable tribute to the 50's classic

I had literally no expectations from this guitar, I always wanted a T-Model and since 2015 I left all my gear back home, and didn't have a chance to play any Electric Guitar, until the day this beauty arrived at my place.

The neck: never in my life, not even my 2006 Fender Standard Telecaster had a neck so smooth, the frets required some polishing and the nut screams "please replace me!", but after some setting up, I can't just stop playing it. Never gets sticky, the more you play, the smoother it gets.

The body: if you read the reviews, it's not a myth: it is a heavy guitar. However, it also gives this guitar character, it functions as a solid foundation for modding and I'm pretty sure with some care this instrument can last for months.

The electronics: Pick-ups are ok, no hum and minimal feedback when adding overdrives. Not a good option if you're looking for shredding solos, chugging, etc. Potentiometers, switch and plug definitely could use a replacement. Try using the default for the first 3 - 6 months, and then look for an upgrade.

They could definitely use a Serial Number, I would love to track the guys who carved and built my specific guitar, because after 5 years of no playing, I got such a solid instrument I'm very happy I kept trying and learning guitar.

Solid guitar

Solid guitar for the price. Perfect for upgrading which is what I did. Wilkinson tuners, brass saddles, Fender switch, Fender Tex Mex pickups.

TE52 NA VINTAGE

I'm no expert; this is my first electric guitar.

It tuned up easily and holds the tuning well. Seems well set up out of the box. Some protective plastic films to remove, which necessitated loosening some screws & control knobs to remove completely. I suppose this is normal..

I like the looks.

I chose this model because of its simplicity. As a novice, easier for me to learn..

The only negative thing I can say about this guitar is that it's really heavy! Not too big a deal for me personally as I use a wheelchair most of the time; don't play standing up.

Seems good value for money!

Scratch plate askew

I have changed the pups several times the original ones sounded great on low volumes but not too great when cranked up. The scratchplate was askew but was an easy fix. For the money, it's well worth it.

This guitar is really good for it's price, it has a nice sound and it is actually looks high quality and very beatiful for a not expensive guitar. It is just a bit heavy but its not a big deal, i loved it .

Good Guitar, but

Too heavy! It may be an accurate repro of a classic tele, but man, make it lighter! Sounds great tho.

cheap no thrills, good quality

its perfect for its price, you get a thruss rod and adjustable saddles. I only use the bridge pickup, dont really care for the other one. its heavy. i compared it to my stingray bass and I think this guitar is heavier... it can be a little bit of a let down to start playing ,,,specially standing up...

A great tele!

I really love the look and feel of this guitar, and the sound is mellower than other teles, which I really like. The only issue I found with it is a small crack in the finish alongside the neck...in the clear coat.

Almost perfect

This guitar came today and looks amazing except for the slightly scratched scratchplate that I noticed when I took it out of the box. Other than this minor cosmetic issue it looks and plays beautifully and for the price I would recommend it. It has a great tone from the brief testing I have put it through.

Value for money

I wanted to try a Tele and the TE-52 caught my eye. It is highly recommended considering the price. A few quality remarks and this would be a 5 star guitar. It came well packed, the rear strap button was loose (easy fix just to screw in), the pickup select switch is not up to the level of the other parts. Clean sound is super. it is a relatively heavy solid body guitar. Very good looks.

Nice guitar

It's a nice guitar for the price, but I did find my Epiphone from the same price range to be more playable. The strings are a bit too tense, action is needs to be lowered and the guitar is quite heavy. But the sound is nice and it also looks quite nice. Feels like a sturdy guitar, after a few adjustment it's a really nice guitar.

No major complaints. Just a solid, well-made instrument.

I'm used to wide ESP/LTD necks with jumbo frets, and I wanted a single-coil guitar which usually has Fender-style narrow fretboards. This guitar is a way to test whether I find those necks comfortable to play. I also wanted twang.

Pros:

Pickups surprised me in a major way. They're reasonably clear, have that characteristic brightness, and if you play around with amp settings and gain, you can get some nice distortion from it as well. The neck is decent, with no sharp ends. Good intonation. It also looks great aesthetically. Really hard to complain considering the price point.

Cons:

The action came a bit higher than expected. Also, the plastic cap on the pickup switch came off instantly. I did manage to fix it with some glue.

The only genuine complaint I have is that the tuners are very stiff. More than they should be.

Waiting for more

After many reviews (here and on YouTube), I expected a better tool.

In my copy: cosmetic defects; unreliable and highly configurable; the sound is good, but not perfect.

A good tool for its price, but nothing more.

Four stars out of five -

And this is unheard of!

Vintage Sound and feel at a great price

Super heavy vintage style guitar with a chunky c profile neck. It is a monster that sounds like a Tele, looks like a Tele at a fraction of the cost of a real Tele. Overall it is a good quality guitar. Frets though need polishing. Not recommended for beginners. There are other Harley Benton Tele models for them with slimmer necks and less weight.
