A little heavy but sounds great

It's definitely on the hefty side with the ash body, but that classic tele tone can't be beat

Terrific Value, as ever.

I've owned a few HB's over the last few years, all great guitars and unbelievably good for the price. This follows that trend with a couple of small irritants that could easily be rectified. As everyone says, it's heavy, but I don't mind that so much. Fit and finish great, except for two things: The tuners are "vintage" type, which means no hole through the side of the shaft so you have to stick the end of the string in the hole down through the centre. I've never been a fan of these, but with this version the hole isn't very deep so it's all but impossible, without the aid of a matchstick-as-plug, to keep the thinner strings in place whilst wrapping them round the pegs. Not ideal if you break strings regularly at gigs. Secondly, the ferrules on the back for the through body stringing are very loose in their holes, and simply fall out if there's not a string to hold them in place. Again, not great if you break a string gigging, and the ferrule falls out on stage. Maybe that's why they give you the option of stringing through the rear of the bridge assembly itself....... The right size holes would help immensely. I took the drop of superglue approach. Anyway, other than those minor problems, all fine. Action out of the box needed lowering a lot (and I don't like a particularly low action), but intonation was pretty much as good as it gets from the 3-saddle vintage-style bridge assembly without need for adjustment. The fingerboard is quite patchy in colour, but not unattractive. So a solid four stars.

well this guitar came as described .Everything is ok except the pick up switch which was a little bend...i fixed it with my hand, action is a bit high , the body is a 2 piece .The fretboard is perfect like my Fender p bass ..i would say excellent ...the total finish of the guitar is very good..way better than a squire ...the sound is GREAT..really this guitar is perfect for this price...actually it is in par with 500euro range guitars...get it now dont hesitate...

Dont expect much, however good for its price

Built quality is perfect for me, looks/ feel v good, however for me a bit to much noise (hum) which comparing to other guitars do not let me record nice clean signal. Not sure if its only mine or its typical for this guitar. I played few hours on Fender squier and I think was better than HB however, there is no much competition in this price range.

WOW! JUST WOW

Hands down, for the money, you can't beat this guitar! After unboxing, and tuning it up, I started playing. The intonation was perfect! I stretched the strings a bit, re-tuned, and she stays in tune perfectly. Tuners are smooth. Sounds great through my little home practice amp nice twang and bite, everything you'd expect from this style guitar. Some people have commented that the guitar is heavy, and it is, but I don't think it's to bad. The only other thing is the frets on mine were a bit rough, but I'll file the ends and polish the tops when I change the strings. Really glad I bought this guitar!!

Nice ,sound good and not $$$

Excellent value.

Straight out of the box, a fantastic guitar for the money. I bought it for a bit of a joke, not expecting very much …. But it is a very competent instrument, the neck in particular, is excellent, with no sharp fret ends and immediately playable. The only things I did were new string trees on the headstock and a new set of compensating bridge saddles. I gave the truss rod a quarter turn, and this guitar played like a dream. Fabulous tele like tones , but I CANNOT use it for gigs. !! Why ???? It weighs an absolute tonne. Way heavier than the average les Paul. Such a shame. If it were much lighter, I’d use it all the time.

Great but heavy

Luv it, but wish it was hollow, chambered, or just lighter.

Bon instrument pour débuter

Bon instrument pour débuter. Bon son. Pas de fausses notes dans les aigus.

Belle finition.

Point faible : instrument un peu lourd mais robuste.

Je conseille

Great guitar for the price

It's great for the price especially for a beginner like me, I'm only voting it 4 stars because it only has 1 strap button when it was supposed to come with 2 which is weird.

HB T52 (Black face) Tele

ordered and paid for Plek nut service, and instrument

arrived without being done, but sent back, and new model arrived

was perfect out of the box, no set up needed, intonation, action

and strings all spot on, just a slight roll of FB edge, and frets, made it 100%. Great Value and Playability, but the finish on the neck has started peeling off? so it's Caramelised maple neck, they call it?

coated maple neck, I'd call it, but still great value, bit heavy at nearly 10lbs???

Insane value for money

This guitar is very good. I'm occasionally playing at home and totally satisfied with this guitar.

Guitar needed a setup after shipping, but I totally expected that. My guitar had a small rough spot on a bridge – right hand pinky finger wasn't comfortable as if a sharp fret was there. Fixed myself in 10 minutes with some fine sandpaper. Frets themselves are a bit rough, but definitely not sharp.

Brillant

Brillant guitar. It's quite heavy tho. ( I thought ) Looks great too . Sounds decent

Great

All in all, very nice, finish is clean, no dings or damage, some screws are not very straight but not a big issue, setup was good out of the box, pickups sound good too. It plays and sounds great!

Cannot criticize much at this price point but one thing I noticed on my guitar was that the volume pot does not go down to 0, the sound just gets very low and muffled but not off.

Rally impressed

Got to say this guitar really surprised me, setup and build quality was great right out the box. I know it can fluctuate with mass produced instruments but this truly is a great guitar. Tweed a few things to your liking and get jammin

heavy, but solid

The key thing here for me is the neck, which is really nice. Slightly thicker than a typical modern fender 'c' shape, it's got a nice satin finish to the back, the frets are level and dressed not bad, they don't catch you at all, and the nut is cut well. It looks really good, too. Pickups (electronics in general, really) could stand to be replaced, but once you do you have something really very comparable to high-end name brand guitars of this style at a fraction of the price.

Ok guitar

The finish is great. Playability needs a hell of adjustment to make it normal. Action is extremely high, and when set to normal starts fret buzzaing. Had to trim the frets. For sound i dont know, since i replaced the pickups instantly with dimarzio twang kings.
