A solid instrument

I confess - I bought one of these to use as an 'Esquire' platform, but was impressed by the range of tones, the build quality, and the set-up straight out of the box.

Sure, there is an element of 'getting what you pay for' when comparing to a more expensive instrument - but for your money, you get an *awful lot* of instrument - a comfortable, stable neck and a solid body for less than 100 Euro?

It's hard to go wrong with a Harley Benton.

Good value, but heavy

I bought this guitar for my daughter, who is a beginner. As a guitar, it's well-made and everything a beginner needs, but it's very heavy, nearly as heavy as my Les Paul and much heavier than a typical Tele.

Great student guitar...

I have bought two of these. The first had a beautiful Ash body that you could see through the translucent finish, with a great fitted neck. Everything about it said tele, the sound, feel, weight and the look. On the flip side the second one was a multi-part body that had a less impressive grain and the neck was not as good as the first. However, that’s not to say the second one was not good or worth the money. What it highlights is the possibility of the two extremes. In my case ( and having experience with the Harley Benton brand) I guess that I got one from each end of the quality spectrum. They are nice playing guitars and ideal for students. They were equally both playable from the box , overall they are a good buy, just be aware there could be differences.

Good Entry Level.

Let me say that, for the price, this has to be classed as good value for money. I was, hoping for a perfect set up and finish. I think that this was a bit optimistic at this entry level. Nevertheless, after a professional set up, the guitar was good and sounded great. The pickups and hardware are fine, and apart from a flaw on the back where the lacquer had sunk into a knot, the finish was perfect. If it's your lucky day, you might get a perfect one.
